Organoids: mini-organs that grow in the laboratory<\/h3>\n

The visit will be held in French.<\/em><\/p>\n

Take part in a journey around organoids with the Epigenetics and Cell Fate (EDC) laboratory and the Jacques Monod Institute’s teams. After a presentation of the Labex, the place (EDC laboratory), and a short introduction to the concepts of stem cells, organoids, and the recently awarded Nobel Prize-winning CRISPR technology (30-45min), visitors will be able to discover organoids through 3 workshops (3 visitors\/group, 30min \/ workshop): 2 workshops will take place in cell culture rooms to follow the different stages of the creation of organoids, the third workshop will be devoted to the observation of organoid sections under a fluorescence microscope.<\/p>\n

Organo\u00efdes : des mini-organes qui poussent en laboratoire<\/h3>

Participez \u00e0 un parcours autour des organo\u00efdes avec les \u00e9quipes du laboratoire \u00c9pig\u00e9n\u00e9tique et Destin Cellulaire (EDC) et de l\u2019Institut Jacques Monod (IJM).<\/p>

Apr\u00e8s une pr\u00e9sentation du Labex, des lieux (laboratoire EDC) et une courte introduction sur les concepts des cellules souches, des organo\u00efdes et de la technologie CRISPR r\u00e9cemment prim\u00e9e d\u2019un prix Nobel (30-45min), les visiteurs pourront d\u00e9couvrir les organo\u00efdes \u00e0 travers 3 ateliers (3 visiteurs\/groupe, 30min\/atelier) : 2 ateliers se d\u00e9rouleront dans des pi\u00e8ces de culture cellulaire afin de suivre les diff\u00e9rentes \u00e9tapes de la cr\u00e9ation des organo\u00efdes, le troisi\u00e8me atelier sera consacr\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019observation de coupes d\u2019organo\u00efdes au microscope \u00e0 fluorescence.<\/p>
