Certaines marchandises ont m\u00eame parcourus des milliers de kilom\u00e8tres \u00e0 travers l\u2019Asie et l\u2019Europe. C\u2019est cette histoire du commerce et des \u00e9changes arch\u00e9ologiques que nous allons retracer au travers de quelques exemples embl\u00e9matiques, comme la soie, l\u2019encens, le corail, l\u2019ambre\u2026 Nous suivrons \u00e9galement la diffusion, d\u00e8s le N\u00e9olithique ancien il y a plus de 7000 ans, d\u2019une plante aux usages multiples\u00a0: le pavot.<\/p>\n

Philippe Marinval<\/strong> est arch\u00e9ologue, Chercheur retrait\u00e9 du CNRS (m\u00e9daille de Bronze du CNRS). Arch\u00e9obotaniste, il est sp\u00e9cialiste de l\u2019histoire agricole et de l\u2019alimentation v\u00e9g\u00e9tale ancienne. Il \u00e9tudie les \u00e9volutions des soci\u00e9t\u00e9s, plut\u00f4t m\u00e9diterran\u00e9ennes, dans la tr\u00e8s longue dur\u00e9e du M\u00e9solithique \u00e0 la fin de l\u2019Antiquit\u00e9, soit plus de 10.00 ans d\u2019histoire.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Cet ouvrage, le premier en langue fran\u00e7aise consacr\u00e9 au sujet, montre comment cette pop culture, fruit de l\u2019\u00e9cosyst\u00e8me politique et \u00e9conomique sud-cor\u00e9en, mise sur l\u2019exportation massive de produits culturels \u00e0 l\u2019esth\u00e9tique innovante.
