Lanc\u00e9 dans le cadre du plan France 20330, le nouveau programme (RI)\u00b2 du CNRS vise \u00e0 d\u00e9tecter et soutenir des projets scientifiques audacieux, capables de provoquer des avanc\u00e9es technologiques majeures. Dot\u00e9 d’un budget global de 150 millions d’euro il accompagnera douze projets, dont H\u00e9LiC\u00e9o, sur 5 ans et en 2 \u00e9tapes : pendant la premi\u00e8re \u00e9tape, la phase de d\u00e9monstration, l\u2019id\u00e9e ou l\u2019intuition est test\u00e9e et \u00e9valu\u00e9e, avec un arbitrage \u00e0 mi-parcours (2 ans). Si la d\u00e9monstration est positive, la seconde phase permettra de mener le projet \u00e0 son terme (5 ans).<\/p>\n

(RI)\u00b2, un format agile pour un programme exp\u00e9rimental<\/h3>\n

La sp\u00e9cificit\u00e9 du programme r\u00e9side \u00e9galement dans sa simplification. Pour rep\u00e9rer et s\u00e9lectionner les projets (RI)\u00b2, il n\u2019y a pas d\u2019appel \u00e0 projets. Le CNRS se base sur l\u2019exp\u00e9rience de ses responsables scientifiques nationaux qui sillonnent la France toute l\u2019ann\u00e9e pour parler science, accompagner et soutenir les \u00e9quipes en laboratoires, rep\u00e9rer les futures p\u00e9pites.
Les douze projets s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9s sont ainsi port\u00e9s par des chercheuses et chercheurs qui ont acquis une exp\u00e9rience et une expertise mondialement reconnues dans leur domaine.<\/p>\n

H\u00e9LiC\u00e9O : comprendre la diversit\u00e9 des langues et leur transmission en contexte plurilingue<\/h3>\n

L\u2019\u00e9tude du langage, facult\u00e9 essentielle \u00e0 l’humanit\u00e9, r\u00e9clame d’analyser les langues dans leur diversit\u00e9. L’Oc\u00e9anie, avec ses 1300 langues \u2013 dont beaucoup sont menac\u00e9es d’extinction \u2013 repr\u00e9sente 20 % de cette diversit\u00e9. Le projet H\u00e9LiC\u00e9O vise \u00e0 comprendre comment cette mosa\u00efque linguistique s\u2019est d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e historiquement, au fil des migrations et des rencontres entre populations, donnant naissance au paysage plurilingue que l\u2019on observe aujourd\u2019hui.
Face aux pressions \u00e9conomiques et au d\u00e9fi de la mondialisation, ces langues sont aujourd\u2019hui fragilis\u00e9es ; H\u00e9LiC\u00e9O veut contribuer \u00e0 d\u00e9finir leur place, dans une francophonie respectueuse de la diversit\u00e9 culturelle. En impliquant des jeunes chercheurs locaux, le projet formera une nouvelle g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de sp\u00e9cialistes. En consolidant les identit\u00e9s culturelles, ces recherches promeuvent le vivre-ensemble, enjeu socio-politique crucial dans la r\u00e9gion indopacifique.<\/p>\n

Un projet innovant \u00e0 fort impact soci\u00e9tal<\/h3>\n

H\u00e9LiC\u00e9O d\u00e9veloppera plusieurs innovations, notamment de nouveaux protocoles d\u2019enqu\u00eate linguistique et psycholinguistique. Des ressources num\u00e9riques seront cr\u00e9\u00e9es pour l\u2019\u00e9tude et la promotion des langues oc\u00e9aniennes, comme des grammaires, dictionnaires et corpus de litt\u00e9rature orale. Des bases de donn\u00e9es comparatives seront \u00e9tablies pour situer ces langues dans un contexte universel, ou pour reconstituer leurs \u00e9volutions historiques. Enfin, des documents de synth\u00e8se, int\u00e9grant des approches \u00e9ducatives, cognitives et anthropologiques, serviront \u00e0 inspirer de nouvelles pratiques p\u00e9dagogiques, et \u00e0 renouveler les politiques linguistiques et \u00e9ducatives en Outre-mer.<\/p>\n
