Le master ILTS (Industrie de la langue et traduction sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e) de l’UFR EILA s’est vu d\u00e9cerner le label de r\u00e9seau EMT (master europ\u00e9en en traduction) pour la p\u00e9riode 2024\/2029.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Pour la cinqui\u00e8me fois cons\u00e9cutive, la Direction g\u00e9n\u00e9rale de la traduction de la Commission europ\u00e9enne a d\u00e9cern\u00e9 le label de r\u00e9seau EMT au parcours ILTS du Master Traduction Interpr\u00e9tation. Le label est octroy\u00e9 \u00e0 des formations universitaires en traduction r\u00e9pondant \u00e0 des normes professionnelles reconnues et aux exigences du march\u00e9. Seuls 17 autres parcours b\u00e9n\u00e9ficient de ce label en France.<\/p>\n

Mais l’EMT n’est pas qu’un label, c’est \u00e9galement un r\u00e9seau tr\u00e8s actif qui participe \u00e0 l’am\u00e9lioration de la qualit\u00e9 de la formation des traducteurs, afin de faciliter l\u2019int\u00e9gration sur le march\u00e9 du travail des jeunes professionnels du secteur des langues. En formant des traducteurs hautement qualifi\u00e9s, en \u00e9troite coop\u00e9ration avec l\u2019industrie des langues, l\u2019EMT vise, \u00e0 long terme, \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer le statut de la profession de traducteur dans l\u2019UE.<\/p>\n

Cr\u00e9\u00e9 en 1990, le master pro ILTS pr\u00e9pare \u00e0 l’ensemble des m\u00e9tiers qui sont aujourd\u2019hui couverts par la profession de traducteur : traduction (technique, scientifique, sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e\u2026), bien s\u00fbr, mais \u00e9galement communication interculturelle, gestion de projet, terminologie, r\u00e9daction technique, r\u00e9vision, post\u00e9dition, localisation\u2026, soit une palette tr\u00e8s \u00e9tendue de sp\u00e9cialisations en pleine \u00e9volution. Il est organis\u00e9 en M2 selon le r\u00e9gime de l’alternance. Il se caract\u00e9rise par ailleurs par la forte proportion de professionnels parmi ses intervenants (plus des deux tiers), par son insistance sur les aspects contemporains de la traduction et de ses m\u00e9tiers (terminologie et corpus, notamment), par son \u00e9troite imbrication avec le monde professionnel, mais aussi avec la recherche, via la Traductologie de plein champ.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
