Christophe Darmangeat est enseignant en sciences \u00e9conomiques, chercheur en anthropologie sociale et membre du laboratoire Dynamiques sociales et recomposition des espaces (LADYSS \u2013 UMR 7533). Tout l\u2019\u00e9difice de notre organisation \u00e9conomique repose sur un ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne si commun et si ordinaire que l\u2019on se contente g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement de constater son existence sans prendre la peine de se demander comment elle s\u2019explique. Ce ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne si banal et, en m\u00eame temps, si myst\u00e9rieux, c\u2019est le profit.<\/p>\n

Qu\u2019est-ce que le profit ? Par quoi, et surtout par qui, est-il cr\u00e9\u00e9 ? Quels m\u00e9canismes r\u00e9gissent sa r\u00e9partition, et comment contribuent-ils \u00e0 obscurcir son origine ? Pour r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 ces questions, il faut commencer par r\u00e9v\u00e9ler la nature de cette quantit\u00e9 qui gouverne l\u2019\u00e9conomie mondiale et, avec elle, l\u2019existence de milliards d\u2019individus.<\/p>\n

C\u2019est ce \u00e0 quoi s\u2019attache avec clart\u00e9, p\u00e9dagogie (et un peu d\u2019humour !) cet ouvrage accessible et plus que jamais indispensable.<\/p>\n
