La m\u00e9daille d’argent du CNRS est une r\u00e9compense scientifique d\u00e9cern\u00e9e tous les ans \u00e0 une quinzaine de laur\u00e9ats. Depuis une vingtaine d\u2019ann\u00e9e, les travaux de Soraya Boudia portent sur les rapports entre science, soci\u00e9t\u00e9 et politique. Ils s\u2019inscrivent et croisent les perspectives de la sociologie des sciences et des techniques, de la sociologie des risques et de l\u2019expertise, de sociologie de l\u2019environnement et des ressources ainsi que la sociologie de la globalisation. Leur fil conducteur est l\u2019analyse de la production et du r\u00f4le des savoirs scientifiques dans l\u2019identification, la caract\u00e9risation et le gouvernement des probl\u00e8mes globaux, g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9s d\u2019une part, par les innovations technoscientifiques et, d\u2019autre par, la crise environnementale. Elle a notamment \u00e9tudi\u00e9 les transformations des savoirs et de l\u2019expertise sur les risques nucl\u00e9aires dans des cadres marqu\u00e9s par de fortes incertitudes techniques et politiques, l\u2019\u00e9conomisation de l\u2019environnement et les transformations du gouvernement de la toxification de la plan\u00e8te. Ces travaux ont donn\u00e9 lieu \u00e0 plusieurs publications.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Son travail de recherche est anim\u00e9 par la conviction que la place des sciences sociales est centrale dans l\u2019\u00e9tude des crises que nous connaissons (\u00e9cologique en particulier) qui vient renforcer un ensemble de vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9s, mais aussi qu\u2019au regard de l\u2019\u00e9chelle des probl\u00e8mes, des collaborations pluridisciplinaires sont n\u00e9cessaires pour produire des analyses et apporter des r\u00e9ponses \u00e0 la hauteur des enjeux. C\u2019est ce qui l\u2019a amen\u00e9e \u00e0 porter, avec deux autres coll\u00e8gues scientifiques, dans le cadre des Programmes et \u00e9quipements prioritaires de recherche, le PEPR Risques. Dans le cadre de ce programme, ses travaux \u00e0 venir seront consacr\u00e9s au d\u00e9veloppement d\u2019un ensemble de recherches interdisciplinaires sur les risques et les catastrophes \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e8re des changements environnementaux globaux. Ces travaux ont pour ambition de contribuer \u00e0 r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 ensemble de d\u00e9fis pos\u00e9s par les changements plan\u00e9taires en cours qui exposent les soci\u00e9t\u00e9s humaines \u00e0 une augmentation sans pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent des risques et des catastrophes li\u00e9s \u00e0 la combinaison des impacts du d\u00e9r\u00e8glement climatique avec les activit\u00e9s humaines. Il s\u2019agit d\u2019un vaste chantier de recherche qui sera conduit collectivement pour mieux prendre en compte les diff\u00e9rentes dimensions sociales et politiques des risques et des crises dans un monde structur\u00e9 par des in\u00e9galit\u00e9s, des conflits sur les ressources et des perspectives politiques qui paraissent plus incertaines.<\/p>\n
