Plus d\u2019un quart de la population fran\u00e7aise aura d\u00e9pass\u00e9 65 ans d\u2019ici \u00e0 2050. Les seniors occupent ainsi une place de plus en plus large dans notre soci\u00e9t\u00e9. Cependant, celle-ci semble encore mal pr\u00e9par\u00e9e \u00e0 cette transition d\u00e9mographique. En t\u00e9moigne la gestion de la pand\u00e9mie de Covid-19 dans les \u00e9tablissements d\u2019h\u00e9bergement des personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es d\u00e9pendantes (EHPAD), mais \u00e9galement la persistance d\u2019a priori n\u00e9gatifs sur le vieillissement (souvent pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 comme un fardeau pour la soci\u00e9t\u00e9) et l\u2019accentuation des in\u00e9galit\u00e9s en mati\u00e8re de vieillissement en bonne sant\u00e9. Les seniors repr\u00e9sentent une contribution \u00e9conomique et soci\u00e9tale majeure de notre pays. Pour faciliter cette contribution et mettre en place une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 du \u00ab bien vieillir \u00bb, il est urgent et primordial que notre soci\u00e9t\u00e9 s\u2019int\u00e9resse et s\u2019adapte davantage \u00e0 leurs besoins, et les int\u00e8gre dans les politiques li\u00e9es au logement, au travail, \u00e0 la sant\u00e9 et \u00e0 la solidarit\u00e9.<\/p>\n C\u2019est pour r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 ces multiples enjeux que Thomas Rapp et Jonathan Sicsic, tous deux enseignants chercheurs en \u00e9conomie \u00e0 Universit\u00e9 Paris Cit\u00e9, ont imagin\u00e9 le DU \u00ab Silver \u00c9conomie \u00bb. Adoss\u00e9 \u00e0 la mise en place d\u2019une chaire de recherche et d\u2019enseignement Aging UP ! port\u00e9e par la Fondation Universit\u00e9 Paris Cit\u00e9, le programme de ce DU a un triple En regard d\u2019une vision n\u00e9gative, on peut envisager cette \u00e9volution d\u00e9mographique de mani\u00e8re positive si l\u2019on met en \u0153uvre des politiques et innovations adapt\u00e9es. On sait aujourd\u2019hui que la perte d\u2019autonomie peut \u00eatre pr\u00e9venue et\/ou accompagn\u00e9e efficacement en privil\u00e9giant le recours \u00e0 des aides cibl\u00e9es sur les besoins individuels.<\/p>\n\n
