Pr\u00e8s de 3800 \u00e9tudiants \u00e9trangers sont venus en 2019-2020 suivre une formation au sein de l’une des 12 composantes de la Facult\u00e9 Soci\u00e9t\u00e9s et Humanit\u00e9s. Dans la grande majorit\u00e9 des cas (hors cursus et doubles dipl\u00f4mes en anglais), cette formation a eu lieu principalement en fran\u00e7ais. Ce constat a motiv\u00e9 la r\u00e9alisation d\u2019une \u00e9tude entre f\u00e9vrier 2021 et f\u00e9vrier 2022 sur l\u2019offre et la demande de fran\u00e7ais langue \u00e9trang\u00e8re (FLE).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

La Facult\u00e9 Soci\u00e9t\u00e9s et Humanit\u00e9s re\u00e7oit chaque ann\u00e9e, \u00e0 des titres et niveaux de formation vari\u00e9s, plus de 3000 \u00e9tudiants internationaux. Les formations suivies sont majoritairement dispens\u00e9es en fran\u00e7ais. Quel accueil linguistique l\u2019universit\u00e9 offre-t-elle actuellement \u00e0 cette population ? L\u2019envergure internationale d\u2019Universit\u00e9 Paris Cit\u00e9 imposait de faire le point sur les ressources et les fa\u00e7ons dont elles rencontrent les besoins et les attentes exprim\u00e9es par leurs usagers, mais aussi par les agents (administratifs et p\u00e9dagogiques) qui y sont investis. C\u2019est ainsi que dans le cadre des Contrats d’Objectifs et de Moyens de la facult\u00e9 et des composantes initi\u00e9s en 2020, et en lien avec l\u2019observatoire de la facult\u00e9, est n\u00e9 le projet FLECarto.<\/p>\n
L\u2019objet de cette \u00e9tude est une cartographie raisonn\u00e9e de l\u2019offre et de la demande de FLE dans la facult\u00e9, qui croise les points de vue de tous les niveaux d\u2019acteurs : \u00e9tudiants, personnels administratifs, enseignants et responsables de formation. Ce travail s\u2019appuie sur les r\u00e9sultats d\u2019une enqu\u00eate \u00e0 la fois quantitative (deux questionnaires pass\u00e9s aupr\u00e8s des \u00e9tudiants et des doctorants internationaux de la Facult\u00e9 Soci\u00e9t\u00e9s & Humanit\u00e9s) et qualitative (entretiens individuels aupr\u00e8s d\u2019\u00e9tudiants internationaux de licence ou de master, entretien collectif aupr\u00e8s de doctorants internationaux, plusieurs sessions d\u2019\u00e9change avec les agents des services de langues proposant des formations en FLE).<\/p>\n
De ce mat\u00e9riau d\u2019enqu\u00eate ont \u00e9t\u00e9 tir\u00e9s des r\u00e9sultats synth\u00e9tiques permettant de formuler des questions susceptibles d\u2019ouvrir \u00e0 recommandations. En effet, le rapport, sans valeur prescriptive, n\u2019entend pas se substituer aux orientations strat\u00e9giques de la politique des langues \u00e0 Universit\u00e9 Paris Cit\u00e9 dans leur volet FLE ; il s\u2019agit d\u2019un rapport pr\u00e9liminaire \u00e0 un \u00e9largissement au projet inter-facultaire CARTOLANGUES au titre des Contrats d’Objectifs et de Moyens 2022, signal d\u2019une volont\u00e9 constructive de la facult\u00e9 d\u2019apporter sa contribution \u00e0 la strat\u00e9gie d\u2019\u00e9tablissement en mati\u00e8re de politique linguistique.
Ce rapport est destin\u00e9 \u00e0 \u00eatre largement diffus\u00e9 : l\u2019exemple du FLE a illustr\u00e9, au cours de l\u2019enqu\u00eate, le fort potentiel des ressources internes de l\u2019universit\u00e9, la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de bien le rep\u00e9rer, et de le valoriser notamment en progressant dans l\u2019inter-connaissance des services.<\/p>\n
Les r\u00e9sultats du rapport autorisent une r\u00e9flexion sur ce que pourraient \u00eatre les axes d\u2019une politique du FLE adapt\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019ambition strat\u00e9gique d\u2019Universit\u00e9 Paris Cit\u00e9 de s\u2019inscrire, \u00e0 tous niveaux, dans une visibilit\u00e9 internationale forte, via notamment l\u2019accueil de tous les publics internationaux.<\/p>\n
