David Fonte est enseignant en psychologie sociale, responsable du dipl\u00f4me universitaire \u00ab Violences faites aux femmes : violences de genre \u00bb et membre du C<\/span>entre de<\/span> recherche<\/span>s,<\/span> psychanalyse, <\/span>m\u00e9decine et soci\u00e9t\u00e9 (CRPMS)<\/span>. Ses recherches portent sur les repr\u00e9sentations sociales de la violence masculine.<\/span><\/p>\n

Comment la violence conjugale peut-elle perdurer dans une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 qui repose sur un principe d\u2019\u00e9galit\u00e9 entre les sexes et produit une l\u00e9gislation la condamnant ? Qu\u2019est-ce qui, dans notre contexte culturel et nos mentalit\u00e9s, maintient ces violences malgr\u00e9 la prolif\u00e9ration des discours progressistes ?
Solveig Lelaurain et David Fonte r\u00e9pondent \u00e0 ces questions \u00e0 travers quatre enqu\u00eates qui contextualisent la violence conjugale dans un ensemble de normes et de valeurs patriarcales. Ces enqu\u00eates explorent les repr\u00e9sentations sociales les plus communes de ce ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne en vue de mieux comprendre son acceptation et ses cons\u00e9quences pour les victimes.
Premi\u00e8re contribution en langue fran\u00e7aise \u00e0 th\u00e9oriser la violence conjugale depuis la perspective d\u2019une psychologie f\u00e9ministe, cet ouvrage d\u00e9construit les discours psychologisants port\u00e9s sur les victimes et les agresseurs, mais aussi les id\u00e9aux romantiques et les grandes illusions v\u00e9hicul\u00e9es par le mod\u00e8le de la famille h\u00e9t\u00e9ronormative.
