Ce livre est une enqu\u00eate sur les pratiques et les voix des femmes dans le monde. Nourri d\u2019entretiens avec des activistes, des artistes, des femmes engag\u00e9es et des hommes concern\u00e9s, de synth\u00e8ses originales sur les grands probl\u00e8mes qui se posent aux femmes aujourd\u2019hui, il constitue un vade-mecum des pratiques f\u00e9ministes contemporaines.
Le peuple des femmes manifeste une nouvelle exigence de justice qui est d\u00e9sormais la norme, la justice de genre : femmes, hommes, h\u00e9t\u00e9ros, homos, trans, tous sont concern\u00e9s. Non seulement le peuple n\u2019est plus le monopole des hommes, mais la justice sociale qui le sous-tendait et qui s\u2019organisait selon la redistribution des richesses ne peut plus occulter de nouvelles redistributions. Le peuple des femmes n\u2019est donc pas le sym\u00e9trique du peuple des hommes. Il affirme qu\u2019\u00e0 la racine de tout monde commun se tient l\u2019enjeu central d\u2019\u00e9galit\u00e9. Mais, par-del\u00e0 la justice et l\u2019\u00e9galit\u00e9, c\u2019est \u00e0 une lutte pour le pouvoir que nous assistons. Ce pouvoir pr\u00e9empt\u00e9 par les hommes leur est d\u00e9sormais disput\u00e9 par les femmes. Renouvel\u00e9es par les pays du Sud, port\u00e9es par la puissance des femmes, les formes d\u2019organisation sociale \u00e9voluent. \u00c9cof\u00e9minisme, f\u00e9minisme du care, f\u00e9minisme queer : le peuple des femmes, transnational et inclusif, s\u2019affirme comme antidote aux nationalismes virilistes.<\/p>\n
