Depuis 2008, l\u2019Union europ\u00e9enne (UE) est confront\u00e9e \u00e0 de multiples crises, toutes graves, qui fragilisent le corps social : crise bancaire, crise de la dette souveraine, crise des migrants, Brexit, crise du coronavirus. Ces chocs viennent d\u00e9stabiliser l\u2019\u00e9conomie europ\u00e9enne dans un contexte o\u00f9 elle est confront\u00e9e aux d\u00e9fis de long terme que sont le changement climatique et la mont\u00e9e de tensions politiques, \u00e9conomiques et technologiques avec la Chine et les \u00c9tats-Unis.
Ce livre resitue ces crises dans le mod\u00e8le de gouvernance de l\u2019UE organis\u00e9 autour du march\u00e9 unique, de la zone euro, du syst\u00e8me budg\u00e9taire europ\u00e9en, de politiques communes et de m\u00e9canismes de soutien dans le domaine social. Il montre comment cette architecture institutionnelle a \u00e9volu\u00e9 pour y faire face, avec la r\u00e9organisation des priorit\u00e9s pour 2030 autour de la transition \u00e9cologique et num\u00e9rique, la mise en \u0153uvre d\u2019un plan de relance commun et le retour en gr\u00e2ce de la politique industrielle.
Ces crises, ces tensions et le risque de d\u00e9classement ont pouss\u00e9 l\u2019UE \u00e0 mieux prendre en compte la protection de ses int\u00e9r\u00eats strat\u00e9giques tant sur le plan commercial, mon\u00e9taire, qu\u2019industriel.
