Le Maroc n’a pas \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9pargn\u00e9 par les r\u00e9voltes du \u00ab printemps arabe \u00bb de 2011. Comme en Tunisie et ailleurs, l’\u00e9mancipation individuelle est au coeur des enjeux sociaux. Ce livre propose un regard ethnographique pour comprendre les r\u00e9alit\u00e9s du Maroc contemporain. Il parle du mal-\u00eatre de la jeunesse. Il plonge dans l’histoire d’une famille sur plusieurs g\u00e9n\u00e9rations. Il entra\u00eene au c\u0153ur des repr\u00e9sentations li\u00e9es aux relations entre les sexes, mais aussi entre les g\u00e9n\u00e9rations. Il souligne l’ampleur des tensions qui travaillent les individus et les familles.<\/p>\n

Ce livre revient sur les bouleversements de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 marocaine, soulignant \u00e0 la fois combien les changements dus aux processus de modernisation sont rapides, profonds et irr\u00e9versibles, et combien sont fortes les r\u00e9sistances. Les valeurs musulmanes apparaissent comme un rempart \u00e0 ce qui est v\u00e9cu comme une occidentalisation des m\u0153urs, et la famille comme la garante de leur pr\u00e9servation. Il en r\u00e9sulte cette crispation autour du statut de la femme et des normes religieuses, du corps et de la sexualit\u00e9, avec laquelle se d\u00e9battent les jeunes.
