L\u2019unit\u00e9 de Biologie Fonctionnelle et Adaptative (BFA) est l\u2019une des unit\u00e9s de\u00a0recherche du P\u00f4le des Sciences du Vivant de l\u2019universit\u00e9 Paris Cit\u00e9, localis\u00e9 sur le campus des Grands Moulins. L\u2019unit\u00e9 BFA d\u00e9veloppe des recherches en Biologie\u00a0int\u00e9grative. L\u2019unit\u00e9 BFA, UMR 8251 CNRS \u2013 Universit\u00e9 Paris Cit\u00e9, est organis\u00e9e en 8\u00a0\u00e9quipes dont deux constituent l\u2019ERL INSERM U1133. L\u2019UMR comprend 48\u00a0chercheurs (16) et enseignants-chercheurs (32), 4 cliniciens et 31 personnels techniques, ing\u00e9nieurs et administratifs. L\u2019unit\u00e9 accueille de 30 \u00e0 40 personnels non\u00a0permanents (doctorants, post-doctorants, contractuels) et une cinquantaine de stagiaires. Le directeur est Jean-Marie Dupret et la directrice-adjointe Jo\u00eblle Cohen-Tannoudji, tous deux professeurs \u00e0 l\u2019universit\u00e9 Paris Cit\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Le projet scientifique de l\u2019unit\u00e9 BFA vise \u00e0 mieux comprendre les m\u00e9canismes biologiques permettant l\u2019adaptation de l\u2019organisme \u00e0 des perturbations d\u2019origine environnementale et\/ou interne (endocrines, m\u00e9taboliques, g\u00e9niques) en contextes physiologique ou physiopathologique. Les recherches de l\u2019unit\u00e9 concernent cinq\u00a0th\u00e9matiques principales : nutrition, pathologies d\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9ratives et vieillissement,\u00a0reproduction, toxicologie, mod\u00e9lisation computationnelle. Les m\u00e9thodes\u00a0exp\u00e9rimentales mises en \u0153uvre incluent l\u2019analyse non-invasive de param\u00e8tres\u00a0physiologiques ainsi que des approches cellulaires, biochimiques, mol\u00e9culaires ou\u00a0informatiques.<\/p>\n
