La communaut\u00e9 des math\u00e9maticien.es de la Facult\u00e9 des Sciences ainsi que l’ensemble de la Facult\u00e9 adressent leurs plus sinc\u00e8res f\u00e9licitations \u00e0 Michel Talagrand, laur\u00e9at du Prix Abel 2024 et ancien directeur de recherche au CNRS \u00e0 L’Institut des Math\u00e9matiques de Jussieu-Paris Rive Gauche (UMR 7586 – Universit\u00e9 Paris Cit\u00e9, Sorbonne Universit\u00e9, CNRS). Ce prix r\u00e9compense une vie consacr\u00e9e aux Math\u00e9matiques et un apport exceptionnel \u00e0 la th\u00e9orie des probabilit\u00e9s, l’analyse fonctionnelle et les statistiques. La contribution de Michel Talagrand est multi-domaines : surprenum des processus stochastiques, concentration des mesures, verre de spin en lien avec la Physique.
