Florence Niedergang et Olivier Tenaillon, respectivement chercheurs \u00e0 l\u2019Institut Cochin et au laboratoire Infection, Antimicrobials, Modelling, Evolution (IAME), font partie des membres fondateurs de l\u2019Institut Hors Murs (IHM) Microb\u2019UP. Ce dernier rassemble plus de 45 \u00e9quipes de recherche s\u2019int\u00e9ressant \u00e0 tous les domaines de la microbiologie\u00a0: de la virologie aux bact\u00e9ries en passant par les champignons\u2026<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Pourquoi avoir souhait\u00e9 cr\u00e9er un Institut Hors Murs\u00a0? <\/strong><\/p>\n

Nous avons fait le constat qu\u2019il existe de nombreuses \u00e9quipes de recherche en microbiologie au sein d\u2019Universit\u00e9 Paris Cit\u00e9 mais toutes implant\u00e9es sur diff\u00e9rents sites. Pour r\u00e9unir nos forces, nous avons penser cr\u00e9er un IHM. L\u2019objectif est que toutes ces \u00e9quipes apprennent \u00e0 se connaitre, partagent leurs int\u00e9r\u00eats communs, leur technologie et que les \u00e9tudiants puissent plus facilement \u00e9changer, b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier de mobilit\u00e9s et \u00eatre soutenus. Pour vous donner un ordre d\u2019id\u00e9e, l\u2019institut rassemble plus de 500 personnes dont 150 doctorants.<\/p>\n

Concr\u00e8tement que va faire Microb\u2019UP\u00a0?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nous mettons en place des journ\u00e9es de rencontres pour favoriser l\u2019interaction entre les membres et l\u2019identification des diff\u00e9rentes \u00e9quipes et de leurs th\u00e9matiques de recherche. Nous souhaitons mettre en place un partage des technologies et des expertises de chacun pour favoriser l\u2019acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration de nos progr\u00e8s et l\u2019ouverture \u00e0 la multidisciplinarit\u00e9. En plus de ces journ\u00e9es d\u2019\u00e9changes, nous souhaitons proposer des ateliers techniques, p\u00e9dagogiques et de rencontres avec le monde socio-\u00e9conomique.<\/p>\n

C\u2019est aussi un bon vecteur pour \u00eatre plus visible \u00e0 l\u2019international\u00a0? <\/strong><\/p>\n

Tout \u00e0 fait, nous avons d\u00e9j\u00e0 une certaine visibilit\u00e9 mais l\u2019appui d\u2019Universit\u00e9 Paris Cit\u00e9 va \u00eatre facilitateur et, nous esp\u00e9rons, nous permettra de recruter de nouveaux profils, de tous niveaux, jeunes chercheurs, post-doctorants\u2026 Il nous semble que b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier des infrastructures universitaires et f\u00e9d\u00e9rer les champs de la recherche fondamentale et clinique sont des int\u00e9r\u00eats certains pour les chercheurs.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>Allez-vous \u00e9galement r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 des appels \u00e0 projets de mani\u00e8re conjointe\u00a0? <\/strong><\/p>\n

Oui c\u2019est l\u2019un de nos objectifs, nous souhaitons \u00e9tablir la liste des appels \u00e0 projets dans le domaine et trouver des partenaires au sein de l\u2019Institut Hors Murs pour y r\u00e9pondre au mieux. Nous sommes en cours de r\u00e9flexion sur ce sujet , pour pouvoir \u00e9galement faire des demandes d’\u00e9quipement, par exemple. \u00a0<\/p>\n

Quel est votre lien avec l\u2019Institut Pasteur\u00a0? <\/strong><\/p>\n

L\u2019Universit\u00e9 a r\u00e9cemment signer un accord avec l\u2019Institut Pasteur ce qui facilite grandement les interactions entre les deux instituts. Cela va aussi nous permettre de r\u00e9aliser un appel \u00e0 manifestation d\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat au sein des \u00e9quipes de l\u2019Institut Pasteur et ainsi consolider nos \u00e9changes.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>Peut-on encore rejoindre Microb\u2019UP\u00a0? <\/strong><\/p>\n

Oui c\u2019est un institut ouvert\u00a0! Notre ambition initiale est de pouvoir faire se rencontrer des personnes qui font des sciences fondamentales et des applications cliniques, donc des \u00e9quipes issues des Facult\u00e9s de Sant\u00e9 et de Sciences. Pour l\u2019instant, ce sont les deux facult\u00e9s repr\u00e9sent\u00e9es au sein de l\u2019IHM et nous esp\u00e9rons pouvoir accueillir prochainement des \u00e9quipes de la Facult\u00e9 Soci\u00e9t\u00e9s Humanit\u00e9s.<\/p>\n
