L\u2019Institut Pasteur<\/strong> est un acteur majeur de la recherche en biologie, en particulier dans les domaines des maladies infectieuses, de la biologie cellulaire, de l\u2019immunologie, de la biologie du d\u00e9veloppement et des neurosciences.<\/p>\n Universit\u00e9 Paris Cit\u00e9<\/strong> est une grande universit\u00e9 de recherche intensive pluridisciplinaire avec une force particuli\u00e8rement importante en sante\u0301 et en biologie, qui s\u2019appuie sur une approche interdisciplinaire alliant les sciences exp\u00e9rimentales, naturelles, et formelles, ainsi que les sciences humaines et sociales dans toute leur diversit\u00e9.<\/p>\n Cette association permet de construire une strat\u00e9gie scientifique concert\u00e9e et partag\u00e9e qui s\u2019appuiera sur le renforcement et le co-d\u00e9veloppement des th\u00e9matiques d\u00e9j\u00e0 pr\u00e9sentes au sein des deux \u00e9tablissements, tant en recherche fondamentale que translationnelle.<\/p>\n Les deux institutions ont notamment une expertise reconnue dans le domaine des maladies infectieuses, avec environ deux-tiers du potentiel de recherche de l\u2019Institut Pasteur et une grande tradition de recherche et de soin au sein de la Facult\u00e9 de Sant\u00e9 d\u2019Universit\u00e9 Paris Cit\u00e9.<\/p>\n Si les deux \u00e9tablissements partagent des domaines d\u2019excellence telles que la microbiologie, l\u2019immunologie, la biologie structurale, la chimie, des synergies mutuellement b\u00e9n\u00e9fiques seront d\u00e9velopp\u00e9es dans les domaines de la biologie du d\u00e9veloppement, la biologie cellulaire, les neurosciences, les sciences dures et les sciences humaines et sociales.<\/p>\n La strat\u00e9gie scientifique partag\u00e9e par les deux institutions sera marqu\u00e9e par une forte int\u00e9gration de la recherche fondamentale et de la recherche clinique, laquelle s\u2019appuiera notamment sur les sites hospitalo-universitaires d\u2019Universit\u00e9 Paris Cit\u00e9 dans le nord et le centre de Paris (Necker, Cochin, HEGP, Saint-Louis, Lariboisie\u0300re, Bichat).<\/p>\n Enfin, l\u2019association entre Universit\u00e9 Paris Cit\u00e9 et l\u2019Institut Pasteur porte une grande ambition de rayonnement au niveau international. Avec ses 33 membres r\u00e9partis sur les 5 continents, le Pasteur Network constitue un atout \u00e0 fort potentiel dans ce domaine.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Une association qui repose sur une collaboration ancienne et des liens forts tant en formation qu\u2019en recherche <\/strong><\/p>\n Les collaborations existantes entre Universit\u00e9 Paris Cit\u00e9 et l\u2019Institut Pasteur sont multiples. En effet, plusieurs \u00e9quipes mixtes sont d\u00e9j\u00e0 en place et Universit\u00e9 Paris Cit\u00e9 est aujourd\u2019hui tutelle de huit unit\u00e9s de l\u2019Institut Pasteur. Par ailleurs, il existe d\u00e9j\u00e0 des cursus communs aux deux institutions. Enfin, 25% des publications de l\u2019Institut Pasteur\u00a0sont actuellement cosign\u00e9es avec Universit\u00e9 Paris Cit\u00e9.<\/p>\n La mutualisation des moyens humains et technologiques et le partage de visibilit\u00e9, d\u00e9j\u00e0 bien install\u00e9s, seront renforc\u00e9s par cette association entre les deux institutions.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Au b\u00e9n\u00e9fice du plus grand nombre<\/strong><\/p>\n Cette association sera profitable aux communaut\u00e9s des deux institutions : les chercheurs comme les \u00e9tudiants verront leur mobilit\u00e9 facilit\u00e9e, de nouvelles plateformes technologiques seront mises en place, de nouvelles structures de recherche pourront \u00e9merger.
