Aujourd\u2019hui encore en France, les femmes sont sous-repr\u00e9sent\u00e9es dans les \u00e9tudes et les professions de recherche : on ne compte que 36 % de femmes en doctorat, 26 % de femmes en \u00e9coles d\u2019ing\u00e9nieurs et 26 % de femmes parmi les chercheurs.\u00a0 En Europe, seulement 11 % des hautes fonctions acad\u00e9miques en science sont exerc\u00e9es par des femmes, et, au niveau mondial, seules 3 % de femmes ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9compens\u00e9es par des prix Nobel scientifiques. \u00c0 l\u2019heure de r\u00e9inventer l\u2019\u00e9conomie et la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de demain, il est plus crucial que jamais de mettre un terme \u00e0 cet \u00e9tat de fait. Nous devons pouvoir compter au sein des \u00e9quipes de recherche sur tous les talents, tous les regards.<\/em> Tel est le constat dress\u00e9 par Alexandra Palt, Directrice G\u00e9n\u00e9rale de la Fondation L\u2019Or\u00e9al.<\/p>\n

Depuis de nombreuses ann\u00e9es, la Fondation L\u2019Or\u00e9al s\u2019engage aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s des femmes pour contribuer \u00e0 leur valorisation en science. Le Prix Jeunes Talents r\u00e9compense des chercheuses dont les travaux contribuent \u00e0 b\u00e2tir un monde meilleur, durable, plus r\u00e9silient, plus inclusif. Cette ann\u00e9e, pr\u00e8s de 700 jeunes chercheuses ont candidat\u00e9. 35 Jeunes Talents ont \u00e9t\u00e9 s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9es par un jury d\u2019excellence. Originaires du monde entier, menant leurs recherches en France m\u00e9tropolitaine ou dans les Outre-Mer, ces doctorantes ou post-doctorantes sont engag\u00e9es dans des champs aussi vari\u00e9s que la m\u00e9decine, l\u2019astronomie, la physique ou l\u2019informatique.<\/p>\n

6 doctorantes et post-doctorantes d’Universit\u00e9 Paris Cit\u00e9 ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9compens\u00e9es pour leurs travaux scientifiques.La Facult\u00e9 de Sant\u00e9 f\u00e9licite plus particuli\u00e8rement 2 d\u2019entre-elles pour leurs travaux en M\u00e9decine.<\/p>\n

Astrid Chevance<\/strong>, Doctorante dans l\u2019\u00e9quipe Methods, Centre de recherche en statistiques (Cress), Inserm (UMR 1153), Universit\u00e9 Paris Cit\u00e9.<\/p>\n

M\u00e9decin psychiatre, Astrid termine son doctorat d\u2019\u00e9pid\u00e9miologie clinique sur l\u2019\u00e9valuation des traitements de la d\u00e9pression. Ses travaux de recherche-action participative portent sur le choix du traitement qui correspond le mieux \u00e0 chaque patient. Cette m\u00e9thode permet de transformer la r\u00e9alisation des essais cliniques, donnant aux patients un r\u00f4le non plus d\u2019objet mais de sujet, voire de co-chercheurs.<\/p>\n

La remise en question r\u00e9currente de l\u2019expertise des femmes en m\u00e9decine et en science a suscit\u00e9 chez Astrid Chevance un engagement fort : elle est membre de l\u2019association Donner des Elles<\/em> \u00e0 la sant\u00e9 qui promeut l\u2019\u00e9galit\u00e9 femme-homme dans les professions de sant\u00e9. Astrid participe aux travaux de la chaire\u00a0 de philosophie du centre hospitalier Sainte-Anne aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s de la philosophe Cynthia Fleury, et de la chaire Handicap psychique et D\u00e9cision pour Autrui tenue par la sociologue Florence Weber.<\/p>\n

M\u00e9decin, Johanna est amen\u00e9e \u00e0 prendre en charge, au cours de son internat en h\u00e9matologie, des patients atteints de leuc\u00e9mie aig\u00fce my\u00e9lo\u00efde (LAM), une forme agressive de cancer de la moelle osseuse. C\u2019est \u00e0 cette p\u00e9riode qu\u2019elle choisit d\u2019effectuer son master puis sa th\u00e8se sur cette maladie. Ses recherches visent \u00e0 explorer une approche th\u00e9rapeutique originale bas\u00e9e sur l\u2019utilisation d\u2019un compos\u00e9 ciblant le m\u00e9tabolisme des cellules leuc\u00e9miques qui pourrait restaurer l\u2019activit\u00e9 du syst\u00e8me immunitaire contre ces derni\u00e8res. Ses r\u00e9sultats pr\u00e9liminaires montrent l\u2019\u00e9mission de signaux capables d\u2019activer le syst\u00e8me immunitaire. Les travaux de Johanna nourrissent son r\u00eave pour la science : \u00ab pouvoir r\u00e9parer les vivants \u00bb.<\/p>\n
