Les chercheurs, enseignants-chercheurs et personnels hospitaliers de ces FHU ont un niveau d\u2019excellence qui les positionne comme r\u00e9f\u00e9rences internationales sur les th\u00e8mes m\u00e9dicaux d\u00e9finis.<\/p>\n

Qu’est-ce qu’une FHU ?<\/strong><\/h6>\n
La cr\u00e9ation des F\u00e9d\u00e9rations Hospitali\u00e8res Universitaires est cons\u00e9cutive \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9valuation des D\u00e9partements Hospitalo-Universitaires (DHU) par le HCERES et \u00e0 son bilan positif. Il a donc \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de renouveler ce dispositif et de le rebaptiser F\u00e9d\u00e9rations Hospitalo-Universitaires (FHU) afin de mieux traduire la volont\u00e9 de f\u00e9d\u00e9rer les \u00e9quipes de recherche.<\/h6>\n
Quel est l\u2019objectif des FHU ?<\/strong><\/h6>\n
Il s’agit de cr\u00e9er une synergie forte entre l\u2019h\u00f4pital, les universit\u00e9s et les organismes de recherche pour am\u00e9liorer la recherche m\u00e9dicale et la qualit\u00e9 des soins mais aussi pour contribuer au rayonnement rapide de l\u2019innovation et \u00e0 une meilleure visibilit\u00e9 internationale.<\/h6>\n
Comment les projets ont-ils \u00e9t\u00e9 s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9s ?<\/strong><\/h6>\n
Sur les 47 projets initialement pr\u00e9sent\u00e9s, 29 ont \u00e9t\u00e9 s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9s pour l\u2019\u00e9tape des auditions. Le jury international pr\u00e9sid\u00e9 par le Pr Kim Fox de l\u2019Imperial College et les partenaires de cet appel \u00e0 projets ont d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de labelliser et financer 21 FHU pour une dur\u00e9e de cinq ans. Le jury compos\u00e9 de personnalit\u00e9s exer\u00e7ant leur activit\u00e9 en r\u00e9gion ou \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tranger a soulign\u00e9 l\u2019excellence des projets pr\u00e9sent\u00e9s.\u00a0<\/h6>\n
