Les \u00e9tudes de sant\u00e9 sont tr\u00e8s s\u00e9lectives. Le classement \u00e0 l\u2019issue de la premi\u00e8re ann\u00e9e d\u00e9termine les possibilit\u00e9s de choix des \u00e9tudiantes et des \u00e9tudiants dans les diff\u00e9rentes fili\u00e8res de poursuite d\u2019\u00e9tudes en sant\u00e9. Atteindre un rang \u00e9lev\u00e9 permet d\u2019avoir le choix entre la m\u00e9decine, la pharmacie, l\u2019odontologie, la ma\u00efeutique, les \u00e9tudes de masso-kin\u00e9sith\u00e9rapie, de soins infirmiers, de p\u00e9dicurie-podologie, et d\u2019orthoptie. Les possibilit\u00e9s se restreignent \u00e0 mesure que les premi\u00e8res et les premiers occupent les places qu\u2019ils d\u00e9sirent.<\/p>\n
Depuis la mise en \u0153uvre de la r\u00e9forme PASS \/LAS durant l\u2019ann\u00e9e universitaire 2020-2021, le nombre de promotions de premi\u00e8re ann\u00e9e pouvant acc\u00e9der \u00e0 une deuxi\u00e8me ann\u00e9e en sant\u00e9 a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9multipli\u00e9, tandis que le classement doit demeurer unique. La n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de classer et de r\u00e9unir les \u00e9tudiantes et les \u00e9tudiants admis aux premiers rangs se fait donc plus pressante. Les amphis de garnison repr\u00e9sentent la solution \u00e0 ces difficult\u00e9s. En un lieu unique, durant un moment circonscrit, \u00e0 huis clos, les grandes et les grands admis de chaque promotion sont convoqu\u00e9s pour venir exprimer oralement leur souhait de poursuite d\u2019\u00e9tude, face au Doyen ou \u00e0 un Vice-Doyen de Sant\u00e9. L\u2019attribution des places est effectu\u00e9e de mani\u00e8re transparente, en pr\u00e9sence de l\u2019ensemble des laur\u00e9ats de la promotion.<\/p>\n
Cette solution, utilis\u00e9e dans les fili\u00e8res m\u00e9dicales depuis des d\u00e9cennies, est issue de l\u2019arm\u00e9e, et plus pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment de l\u2019\u00c9cole militaire de Saint-Cyr. Elle visait \u00e0 affecter les jeunes officiers \u00e0 une garnison militaire et se produisait dans l\u2019amphith\u00e9\u00e2tre principal de l\u2019\u00e9cole.<\/p>\n
Garantissant la transparence et l\u2019\u00e9quit\u00e9 pour l\u2019attribution des places les plus convoit\u00e9es, l\u2019amphi de garnison demeure source de stress pour les \u00e9tudiantes et les \u00e9tudiants. \u00catre appel\u00e9 \u00e0 venir exprimer son v\u0153u devant tout le monde peut \u00eatre impressionnant. Pour autant, les solutions alternatives sont loin de faire l\u2019unanimit\u00e9. Durant la pand\u00e9mie, des amphis de garnison ont \u00e9t\u00e9 organis\u00e9s en ligne, lors de visioconf\u00e9rences d\u00e9mat\u00e9rialis\u00e9es. Celles et ceux qui y ont particip\u00e9 ont soulev\u00e9 de nouvelles probl\u00e9matiques\u00a0: il est plus difficile d\u2019interroger les organisateurs en ligne que dans un amphi, et des m\u00e9compr\u00e9hensions peuvent s\u2019installer alors qu\u2019elles pourraient \u00eatre imm\u00e9diatement lev\u00e9es. Le stress demeure bien pr\u00e9sent, il s\u2019incarne dans la peur d\u2019avoir manqu\u00e9 une information importante, et l\u2019angoisse de la panne informatique.<\/p>\n
L\u2019amphi de garnison reste donc pl\u00e9biscit\u00e9, et la tradition des carabins se perp\u00e9tue. Les \u00e9tudiantes et les \u00e9tudiants savent se saisir de cette occasion pour en faire un moment de c\u00e9l\u00e9bration, dans un esprit \u00e0 la fois concentr\u00e9, respectueux et festif. Il est parfois bon de pouvoir compter sur une c\u00e9l\u00e9bration collective pour accompagner les moments cruciaux d’une existence.<\/p>\n
