Le 9 juin 2023, le Conseil du D\u00e9partement Universitaire de Ma\u00efeutique (DUM) a \u00e9lu Julie Gaillard, en tant que Directrice du d\u00e9partement et Ethan Deslande, en tant que Vice- Directeur \u00e9tudiant. Engag\u00e9s dans la cr\u00e9ation de celui-ci, ils nous parlent des projets qu\u2019ils souhaitent mettre en place pour le DUM durant leur mandat respectif.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Quel est votre parcours\u00a0?<\/h2>\n

Julie Gaillard :<\/strong>\u00a0Je suis dipl\u00f4m\u00e9e de l\u2019\u00e9cole de sages-femmes Saint-Antoine (Paris) depuis 2004. J\u2019ai ensuite exerc\u00e9 en secteur hospitalier public, \u00e0 l\u2019h\u00f4pital Saint-Antoine (Paris 12) puis en secteur lib\u00e9ral \u00e0 Montreuil (93). Ces quinze premi\u00e8res ann\u00e9es d\u2019exp\u00e9rience m\u2019ont permis de me confronter aux diff\u00e9rents modes d\u2019exercice de notre profession et d\u2019\u00e9voluer en int\u00e9grant nos nouvelles comp\u00e9tences, notamment en gyn\u00e9cologie. Durant cette p\u00e9riode, j\u2019ai accompagn\u00e9 de nombreux \u00e9tudiants lors de leur cursus et j\u2019ai pris conscience de leurs attentes et de leurs pr\u00e9occupations.
Parall\u00e8lement \u00e0 mon exercice m\u00e9dical, j\u2019ai suivi des \u00e9tudes de droit et je suis titulaire d\u2019un Master 2 de Droit de la Sant\u00e9 \u2013 Management des Etablissement sanitaires, sociaux et m\u00e9dico-sociaux.
Depuis quatre ans, je suis sage-femme enseignante \u00e0 temps plein et je participe au quotidien au projet d\u2019universitarisation de l\u2019\u00e9cole de sages-femmes. J\u2019ai souhait\u00e9 conserver une activit\u00e9 clinique sous forme d\u2019une consultation hebdomadaire au sein du Centre de Planification et d\u2019Education Familiale de l\u2019h\u00f4pital Cochin-Port-Royal.<\/p>\n

Ethan Deslande :<\/strong>\u00a0Je suis actuellement en fin de licence de sciences ma\u00efeutiques. J\u2019ai obtenu un baccalaur\u00e9at scientifique dans un lyc\u00e9e du Val d\u2019Oise en 2020. J’ai ensuite d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de faire une ann\u00e9e de PASS, en ayant une seule id\u00e9e en t\u00eate, r\u00e9ussir le \u201cconcours\u201d de m\u00e9decine. Malgr\u00e9 la pr\u00e9sence d\u2019un parent dans le milieu de la sant\u00e9, je n\u2019avais que peu d’informations sur le m\u00e9tier de sage-femme. C’est durant le difficile premier semestre de\u00a0PASS que j\u2019ai d\u00e9couvert la ma\u00efeutique et cette discipline m\u2019a tout de suite attir\u00e9. Etre sage-femme, c’est \u00eatre plong\u00e9 rapidement dans l’exercice pratique de la m\u00e9decine, \u00eatre centr\u00e9 sur l\u2019\u00e9coute des femmes et le respect de la patiente. Sage-femme, tout comme les autres m\u00e9tiers de la sant\u00e9, est un m\u00e9tier extraordinaire.<\/p>\n

Pourquoi avez-vous souhait\u00e9 vous pr\u00e9senter aux \u00e9lections du D\u00e9partement Universitaire de Ma\u00efeutique de la Facult\u00e9 de Sant\u00e9 d\u2019Universit\u00e9 Paris Cit\u00e9\u00a0?<\/h2>\n

Julie Gaillard :<\/strong>\u00a0Le D\u00e9partement Universitaire de Ma\u00efeutique de la Facult\u00e9 de Sant\u00e9 d\u2019Universit\u00e9 Paris Cit\u00e9 vient de voir le jour. Les enjeux qui sous-tendent ce premier mandat sont \u00e0 la fois structurels, sanitaires et p\u00e9dagogiques. J\u2019ai voulu mettre \u00e0 disposition du d\u00e9partement mon exp\u00e9rience de sage-femme clinicienne, d\u2019enseignante et de juriste.
Par ailleurs, je travaille d\u00e9j\u00e0 en bonne intelligence avec l\u2019\u00e9quipe qui compose le D\u00e9partement. J\u2019ai une grande confiance dans les personnels, je connais leur motivation et leurs qualit\u00e9s et je m\u2019attacherai \u00e0 les associer \u00e0 chaque projet, en fonction de l\u2019expertise de chacun.e.<\/p>\n

Ethan Deslande :\u00a0<\/strong>Je souhaite avant tout repr\u00e9senter les \u00e9tudiants en ma\u00efeutique au sein du d\u00e9partement, de la facult\u00e9 de sant\u00e9 et de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 Paris Cit\u00e9. Il est essentiel de faire le lien entre les \u00e9tudiants des diff\u00e9rentes composantes, les enseignants et les instances. Je souhaite porter leurs paroles et associer les \u00e9tudiants aux d\u00e9cisions prises, aux r\u00e9flexions sur le remodelage de la formation (bient\u00f4t en six ans), \u00e0 l\u2019am\u00e9lioration de la qualit\u00e9 de vie \u00e9tudiante prenant en compte leurs besoins qu\u2019ils soient mat\u00e9riels, physiques ou psychologiques.<\/p>\n

Julie Gaillard :<\/strong>\u00a0Depuis plusieurs ann\u00e9es, la ma\u00efeutique est en pleine mutation. Le champ de comp\u00e9tences des sages-femmes s\u2019\u00e9largit, leurs modalit\u00e9s d\u2019exercice se diversifient, la recherche en ma\u00efeutique ne cesse de progresser. J\u2019ai \u00e0 c\u0153ur de promouvoir une vision large de notre discipline alliant comp\u00e9tences cliniques, connaissances acad\u00e9miques, accompagnement humain et production de savoirs. Aucun de ces aspects ne doit \u00eatre n\u00e9glig\u00e9.
A partir de la rentr\u00e9e universitaire 2024, les \u00e9tudiantes et \u00e9tudiants en ma\u00efeutique suivront un cursus d\u2019une dur\u00e9e de six ans, la derni\u00e8re ann\u00e9e d\u2019\u00e9tudes constituant un troisi\u00e8me cycle court. D\u00e8s aujourd\u2019hui, nous devons travailler \u00e0 une r\u00e9ing\u00e9nierie p\u00e9dagogique. Il nous faudra suivre les prescriptions minist\u00e9rielles en y int\u00e9grant les immenses opportunit\u00e9s offertes par Universit\u00e9 Paris Cit\u00e9. Je pense notamment aux outils num\u00e9riques, \u00e0 la simulation en sant\u00e9 et surtout, \u00e0 l\u2019interdisciplinarit\u00e9. Notre profession ne se pratique jamais seule, quel que soit le mode d\u2019exercice. Je tiens \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper des modules d\u2019enseignement int\u00e9grant des \u00e9tudiantes et \u00e9tudiants de diff\u00e9rentes composantes de la Facult\u00e9 de Sant\u00e9.
Cette refonte p\u00e9dagogique d\u2019envergure ne peut s\u2019imaginer sans une r\u00e9flexion sur le bien-\u00eatre des \u00e9tudiantes et \u00e9tudiants en ma\u00efeutique dans leur cursus. Une enqu\u00eate de l\u2019Association Nationale des Etudiantes et Etudiants Sages-Femmes nous r\u00e9v\u00e8le que nombre d\u2019entre eux souffrent lors de leurs \u00e9tudes. Nous devons nous interroger et avoir comme double objectif de leur offrir une formation de haute qualit\u00e9 et de contribuer \u00e0 leur bien-\u00eatre, tout au long de leur cursus.
L\u2019un des axes fondamentaux de ce premier mandat sera \u00e9galement de contribuer au rayonnement de la ma\u00efeutique, et ce de deux fa\u00e7ons.
Nous devons tout d\u2019abord faire mieux connaitre notre fili\u00e8re aux lyc\u00e9ens et aux \u00e9tudiants en\u00a0PASS et en L.AS, afin que toutes les places offertes en ma\u00efeutique par Universit\u00e9 Paris Cit\u00e9 soient pourvues \u00e0 chaque rentr\u00e9e universitaire. Les premi\u00e8res actions de valorisation sont engag\u00e9es mais nous devons poursuivre et amplifier cette d\u00e9marche.
Il nous faut \u00e9galement favoriser la recherche. Le D\u00e9partement Universitaire de Ma\u00efeutique a la chance de compter en son sein deux enseignantes-chercheuses, toutes deux reconnues pour la qualit\u00e9 de leurs travaux. La commission scientifique locale aura pour mission de d\u00e9gager plusieurs axes de recherche, de susciter des vocations et de faire grandir le vivier de chercheurs dans le domaine de la p\u00e9rinatalit\u00e9.
Enfin, nous devons ouvrir une nouvelle voie, celle de l\u2019acc\u00e8s \u00e0 la formation continue. Le D\u00e9partement Universitaire de Ma\u00efeutique devra \u00eatre capable d\u2019offrir au plus vite aux professionnels d\u00e9j\u00e0 en exercice une ou des formations dipl\u00f4mantes de qualit\u00e9.
Mais pour que ces projets puissent \u00eatre men\u00e9s \u00e0 bien, le premier d\u2019entre eux est, bien entendu, de faire fonctionner pleinement et rapidement ce jeune d\u00e9partement. Il s\u2019agit pour cela d\u2019\u00e9lire et de nommer les personnes qui si\u00e8geront au sein des diff\u00e9rentes instances du d\u00e9partement et de conduire l\u2019int\u00e9gration des personnels enseignants dans de bonnes conditions. Travail auquel je m\u2019attelle d\u00e9j\u00e0.<\/p>\n

Ethan Deslande :\u00a0<\/strong>L\u2019une de mes premi\u00e8res missions sera de contacter les repr\u00e9sentantes et repr\u00e9sentants \u00e9tudiants des diff\u00e9rents d\u00e9partements universitaire de ma\u00efeutique de France d\u00e9j\u00e0 cr\u00e9\u00e9s ou en cours de construction pour discuter avec eux des opportunit\u00e9s que nous offre l\u2019int\u00e9gration universitaire (activit\u00e9s pluridisciplinaires avec les autres composantes de sant\u00e9, temps de formation, enseignements innovants, modalit\u00e9s d\u2019enseignement et d\u2019\u00e9valuation, accompagnement en retour de stage ainsi que les aides sp\u00e9cifiques mises en place pour r\u00e9pondre aux besoins des \u00e9tudiants.)
J\u2019envisage de dialoguer d\u00e8s \u00e0 pr\u00e9sent avec Julie Gaillard, Directrice du D\u00e9partement, ainsi qu\u2019avec l\u2019association des \u00e9tudiants sage-femme de Baudelocque pour r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer la qualit\u00e9 de vie des \u00e9tudiantes et \u00e9tudiants en ma\u00efeutique, notamment sur le plan de la sant\u00e9 mentale et de la pr\u00e9carit\u00e9 financi\u00e8re. \u00a0
