L\u2019institut Hors Murs \u00ab Paris Institute for Transplantation & Organ Regeneration \u00bb (PITOR) a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9. Orient\u00e9 vers le domaine de la transplantation et de la r\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9ration d’organes, il a pour vocation d\u2019intensifier les collaborations et formations entre les \u00e9quipes de recherche et les \u00e9quipes cliniques afin de favoriser l\u2019interdisciplinarit\u00e9 en portant des projets ambitieux. La transplantation, un enjeu de sant\u00e9 mondial<\/h2>\n

A l\u2019heure actuelle, la transplantation est le meilleur traitement pour les d\u00e9faillances d\u2019organes terminales qui affectent plusieurs millions d\u2019individus dans le monde. Ce chiffre ne cesse de cro\u00eetre, cons\u00e9quence du vieillissement de la population et de l\u2019augmentation de l\u2019incidence des maladies cardiovasculaires et m\u00e9taboliques. Pourtant, seulement 25% des patients en attente de greffe sont transplant\u00e9s<\/strong> chaque ann\u00e9e en France. Restreinte et co\u00fbteuse, la transplantation a un impact \u00e9conomique fort sur tous les syst\u00e8mes de sant\u00e9 mondiaux<\/strong>. Cette situation a pouss\u00e9 de nombreuses \u00e9quipes de recherche en transplantation d\u2019organes solides \u00e0 Paris et sa r\u00e9gion \u00e0 travailler sur ces probl\u00e9matiques.<\/p>\n

L\u2019institut PITOR vise ainsi \u00e0 interconnecter ces experts<\/strong> en faisant travailler de fa\u00e7on conjointe les repr\u00e9sentants des sp\u00e9cialit\u00e9s m\u00e9dico-chirurgicales impliqu\u00e9es dans la cha\u00eene de valeur de la transplantation afin d\u2019am\u00e9liorer la recherche fondamentale, translationnelle et clinique pour une meilleure prise en charge du patient transplant\u00e9 et du greffon<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Au niveau national, le \u00ab Plan minist\u00e9riel Pour le pr\u00e9l\u00e8vement et la greffe d\u2019organes et de tissus 2022-2026 \u00bb <\/strong>a pour objectif de dynamiser la fili\u00e8re de la transplantation d\u2019organes. L\u2019institut hors murs \u00ab Paris Institute for Transplantation & Organ Regeneration <\/strong>\u00bb s\u2019inscrit dans un grand nombre de ces axes.<\/p>\n

Suivre la voie de l\u2019innovation et de la multidisciplinarit\u00e9<\/h2>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>A travers une approche globale de la transplantation<\/strong> et une vision centr\u00e9e sur l\u2019am\u00e9lioration du parcours de soins<\/strong> du patient transplant\u00e9 et du greffon, l\u2019Institut permet \u00e0 de nombreuses unit\u00e9s de recherche<\/strong> du p\u00e9rim\u00e8tre de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 Paris Cit\u00e9 et en lien avec l\u2019INSERM, le CNRS et l\u2019Institut Pasteur ou encore hors Universit\u00e9 Paris Cit\u00e9 comme l\u2019Universit\u00e9 Paris Saclay ou Sorbonne Universit\u00e9 de mettre en commun leurs composantes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Quatre axes f\u00e9d\u00e8rent les \u00e9quipes de l\u2019Institut :<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Comprendre et traiter <\/strong>: en abordant des m\u00e9canismes physiopathologiques impliqu\u00e9s dans le rejet de greffe afin d\u2019optimiser la prise en charge diagnostique et th\u00e9rapeutique des patients.<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>Diagnostiquer et monitorer <\/strong>: en d\u00e9veloppant des outils innovants pour transformer le parcours de soin du patient transplant\u00e9, ax\u00e9 sur une meilleure pr\u00e9diction du risque de perte de greffon et de d\u00e9c\u00e8s.<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Optimiser<\/strong> : en d\u00e9veloppant des approches novatrices bas\u00e9es sur l\u2019intelligence artificielle pour optimiser l\u2019allocation et la conservation des organes.<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Cr\u00e9er des organes, organo\u00efdes et organes sur puce <\/strong>: en mettant en \u0153uvre des strat\u00e9gies de recherche afin de proposer de nouveaux outils et produits permettant de cr\u00e9er, reconditionner ou remplacer des tissus d\u2019organes.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Partager les connaissances et les avanc\u00e9es<\/h2>\n

Ayant l\u2019envie de transmettre, l\u2019Institut contribuera \u00e0 la structuration et l\u2019unification de l\u2019enseignement autour des sciences et de la m\u00e9decine r\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9ratrice<\/strong> au sein des facult\u00e9s de Sant\u00e9 et des Sciences de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 Paris Cit\u00e9. Les innovations p\u00e9dagogiques et technologiques seront d\u00e9ploy\u00e9es pour am\u00e9liorer la qualit\u00e9 et l\u2019acc\u00e8s aux enseignements de l\u2019Institut par le biais de partenariats avec des plateformes num\u00e9riques.<\/p>\n

Le fonctionnement de l\u2019Institut PITOR r\u00e9sulte du regroupement de diff\u00e9rentes entit\u00e9s et institutions pour le moment uniquement fran\u00e7aises.
