Sage-femme et doctorante en sant\u00e9 publique \u00e0 l\u2019Inserm, Marianne Jacques r\u00e9alise une th\u00e8se en \u00e9pid\u00e9miologie p\u00e9rinatale sur \u00ab\u00a0les soins inappropri\u00e9s lors de l\u2019accouchement et la d\u00e9pression du post-partum (DPP)\u00a0\u00bb \u00e0 Universit\u00e9 Paris Cit\u00e9. La d\u00e9pression du postpartum (DPP) constitue une probl\u00e9matique de sant\u00e9 publique bien identifi\u00e9e et largement trait\u00e9e dans le cadre de la Commission des 1000 premiers jours. Elle a d\u2019ailleurs entra\u00een\u00e9 l\u2019institution, en France, d\u2019un entretien postnatal obligatoire depuis l\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9 2022. En outre, la probl\u00e9matique des violences obst\u00e9tricales et soins inappropri\u00e9s durant l\u2019accouchement \u2013 comme des interventions m\u00e9dicales sans consentement de la femme \u2013 a fait l\u2019objet d\u2019un rapport au Haut Conseil \u00e0 l\u2019\u00c9galit\u00e9 entre les femmes et les hommes \u2013 et de recommandations r\u00e9centes de l\u2019OMS. Mais les connaissances actuelles sur ces deux probl\u00e9matiques \u2013 et les liens qu\u2019elles entretiennent \u2013 demeurent insuffisantes.<\/p>\n

Or elles sont centrales dans la pratique quotidienne des sages-femmes et la vie des familles. La recherche de Marianne Jacques s\u2019appuiera sur les donn\u00e9es de l\u2019Enqu\u00eate nationale p\u00e9rinatale (ENP) r\u00e9alis\u00e9e en 2021. Pour la premi\u00e8re fois, la jeune femme pourra ainsi \u00e9tudier les pr\u00e9valences des soins inappropri\u00e9s lors de l\u2019accouchement et de la DPP deux mois apr\u00e8s. Elle pourra ainsi rechercher les m\u00e9canismes unissant ces deux ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes. Enfin, elle souhaite identifier des pistes d\u2019am\u00e9lioration des soins propos\u00e9s aux femmes dans les maternit\u00e9s fran\u00e7aises, \u00e0 la fois en termes institutionnels et de prise en charge.<\/p>\n
