Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9 en 1993 par le Pr. Catherine Chabert comme \u00ab\u00a0Laboratoire de psychologie clinique et psychopathologie\u00a0\u00bb (LPCP). En 2012, le LPCP a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de changer de nom afin de clarifier et confirmer son adossement princeps \u00e0 la psychanalyse et est devenu le laboratoire PCPP. \u00c0 l\u2019Institut de Psychologie, cr\u00e9\u00e9 en 1920, berceau de la psychologie fran\u00e7aise et historiquement premier centre de formation universitaire pour les psychologues, le PCPP t\u00e9moigne ainsi de la pr\u00e9sence d\u2019une psychopathologie clinique r\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9e \u00e0 la psychanalyse, soucieuse du dialogue avec les autres orientations de la psychologie. Dans cet esprit, le PCPP est l\u2019une des unit\u00e9s de recherche \u00e9margeant \u00e0 l\u2019\u00c9cole Doctorale \u00ab\u00a0Cognition, comportement, conduites humaines\u00a0\u00bb (ED261 3CH) qui f\u00e9d\u00e8re l\u2019ensemble des laboratoires pr\u00e9sents \u00e0 l\u2019Institut de Psychologie.<\/p>\n

Depuis sa cr\u00e9ation, le laboratoire a \u00e9t\u00e9 successivement dirig\u00e9 par les Professeurs Catherine Chabert, Serban Ionescu et Fran\u00e7ois Marty. Le Professeur Sylvain Missonnier en a assur\u00e9 la direction de janvier 2012 \u00e0 janvier 2022 avec le Professeur Beno\u00eet Verdon, directeur adjoint. Depuis janvier 2022, le directeur du laboratoire est le Professeur Beno\u00eet Verdon.<\/p>\n

Les enseignants-chercheurs, chercheurs et doctorants qui en sont membres explorent divers domaines de pratiques et de recherches en psychologie clinique et en psychopathologie principalement adoss\u00e9s \u00e0 la psychanalyse freudienne et post-freudienne.<\/p>\n

Leurs travaux utilisent des m\u00e9thodologies plurielles, qualitatives et quantitatives (entretiens cliniques, tests psychologiques et notamment les m\u00e9thodes projectives, outils psychom\u00e9triques, observations cliniques, cadres th\u00e9rapeutiques, groupes) respectueuses de la dynamique transf\u00e9rentielle des rencontres cliniques ainsi que des enjeux li\u00e9s \u00e0 la complexit\u00e9 potentielle des fonctionnements psychiques eu \u00e9gard \u00e0 la dynamique mobilis\u00e9e par la causalit\u00e9 psychique.<\/p>\n

Leurs objets d\u2019\u00e9tudes concernent les probl\u00e9matiques princeps de la vie psychique et des \u00e9tats de souffrance (organisations psychopathologiques classiques, probl\u00e9matiques et conflits psychiques fondamentaux) mais peuvent aussi \u00eatre davantage saisis dans l\u2019actualit\u00e9 de la clinique contemporaine (m\u00e9tamorphoses du couple et de la famille, des institutions et de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9\u00a0; corps souffrants, maladies et handicaps\u00a0; r\u00e9alit\u00e9s virtuelles\u00a0; travail\u00a0; genre\u00a0; diversit\u00e9 culturelle\u2026). Les travaux de recherche veillent \u00e0 tenir compte des sp\u00e9cificit\u00e9s et des articulations des diff\u00e9rentes p\u00e9riodes de la vie (p\u00e9rinatalit\u00e9, petite enfance, enfance, adolescence, \u00e2ge m\u00fbr, vieillesse).<\/p>\n

Cette orientation est ouverte \u00e0 l\u2019interdisciplinarit\u00e9 avec les autres sciences humaines et les sciences dures et m\u00e9dicales. De fait, l\u2019engagement dans des r\u00e9seaux de recherches cliniques universitaires et institutionnels nationaux et internationaux constitue une caract\u00e9ristique identitaire essentielle du laboratoire et de l\u2019activit\u00e9 de recherche et de formation de ses membres.<\/p>\n
