Advanced Materials and devices) fait partie des LABEX laur\u00e9ats de l\u2019appel \u00e0 projet <a href=\"https:\/\/www.enseignementsup-recherche.gouv.fr\/cid51355\/laboratoires-d-excellence.html\">\"Laboratoire d\u2019Excellence\"<\/a>\u00a0du\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gouvernement.fr\/secretariat-general-pour-l-investissement-sgpi\">Programme d\u2019Investissements d\u2019Avenir<\/a>.<br class=\"autobr\" \/>SEAM est ax\u00e9 sur les sciences des mat\u00e9riaux selon une approche multi-\u00e9chelle, depuis l\u2019\u00e9laboration, la caract\u00e9risation, la description et l\u2019int\u00e9gration des mat\u00e9riaux dans des dispositifs et des applications sp\u00e9cifiques dans divers domaines technologiques. Des mat\u00e9riaux inorganiques non organiques, des mat\u00e9riaux nanostructur\u00e9s \u00e0 base de carbone, des monocristaux de diamant et des mat\u00e9riaux nanostructur\u00e9s sont trait\u00e9s, ce qui permet des applications dans le domaine de la photonique, de l\u2019\u00e9lectronique, de l\u2019opto\u00e9lectronique et de l\u2019a\u00e9ronautique. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 approuv\u00e9 en 2010 par un panel d\u2019experts internationaux et est financ\u00e9 par le gouvernement fran\u00e7ais.<\/p><p>Des chercheurs et des professeurs issus de trois disciplines (physique, chimie et ing\u00e9nierie) travaillent ensemble. Le SEAM fait partie de l\u2019institution Universit\u00e9 de PARIS (UP).
