adjoint le service d\u2019addictologie \u00e0 partir de 2010, jusqu\u2019\u00e0 son d\u00e9part \u00e0 la retraite en 2012.<\/p>\n Fortement attach\u00e9 \u00e0 la s\u00e9miologie psychiatrique et \u00e0 la psychopathologie, le Professeur L\u00e9pine a form\u00e9 plusieurs g\u00e9n\u00e9rations de psychiatres \u00e0 l\u2019analyse clinique, avec un enseignement aux internes \u00ab\u00a0au lit du malade\u00a0\u00bb qui \u00e9tait r\u00e9put\u00e9 pour son intelligence et sa finesse, notamment sur les troubles anxieux, de l\u2019humeur et addictifs. Au sein du Groupe Hospitalier Lariboisi\u00e8re\/Fernand-Widal, il sut d\u00e9velopper son service autour d\u2019une expertise en psychopharmacologie, en psychiatrie comme en addictologie, et renforcer les activit\u00e9s de psychiatrie d\u2019urgence et de liaison. Il resta, pendant toute sa carri\u00e8re, tr\u00e8s engag\u00e9 aupr\u00e8s de ses patients qui lui \u00e9taient tr\u00e8s attach\u00e9s.<\/p>\n Tr\u00e8s actif et impliqu\u00e9 au plan institutionnel et collectif, Jean-Pierre L\u00e9pine pr\u00e9sida pendant 6 ans la Coll\u00e9giale des psychiatres de l\u2019AP-HP, de m\u00eame que le Coll\u00e8ge des intervenants en addictologie. Il intervint \u00e9galement au Minist\u00e8re de la sant\u00e9 comme expert, avec notamment la pr\u00e9paration d\u2019un plan national Addictologie en 2006. Il fut longtemps membre de la commission d\u2019autorisation de mise sur le march\u00e9 de l\u2019Agence du m\u00e9dicament, dans le domaine des psychotropes, et il participa \u00e0 la cr\u00e9ation puis \u00e0 l\u2019animation de l\u2019Association Fran\u00e7aise des Troubles Anxieux et de la D\u00e9pression (AFTAD). Il fut un des membres fondateurs du Congr\u00e8s fran\u00e7ais de psychiatrie en 2008.<\/p>\n Le Pr L\u00e9pine a \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 un des psychiatres les plus engag\u00e9s, reconnus et productifs dans les activit\u00e9s de recherche en psychiatrie de sa g\u00e9n\u00e9ration, avec des comp\u00e9tences et connaissances multiples en psychom\u00e9trie, \u00e9pid\u00e9miologie et en psychopharmacologie, tout en restant tr\u00e8s connaisseur et int\u00e9ress\u00e9 par les sciences humaines, en particulier la psychologie et la sociologie. Il mena plusieurs grandes \u00e9tudes \u00e9pid\u00e9miologiques en population g\u00e9n\u00e9rale en France qui font r\u00e9f\u00e9rence, et coordonna de nombreux essais m\u00e9dicamenteux de nouveaux m\u00e9dicaments, notamment antid\u00e9presseurs. Grace \u00e0 un grand nombre de collaborations scientifiques internationales, Jean-Pierre L\u00e9pine participait \u00e0 des r\u00e9seaux de recherche et \u00e0 des groupes d\u2019expert au plus haut niveau. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019origine d\u2019un Master Europ\u00e9en de formation \u00e0 la recherche pour les jeunes psychiatres avec ses coll\u00e8gues de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Maastricht et de Florence. A Paris, il d\u00e9veloppa les activit\u00e9s de recherche en addictologie qu\u2019il a adoss\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019activit\u00e9 de soins sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s de l\u2019h\u00f4pital Fernand-Widal, assurant \u00e0 partir de 2004 la responsabilit\u00e9 de l\u2019\u00e9quipe 3 de l\u2019unit\u00e9 INSERM U705 \u00ab\u00a0Neuropsychopharmacologie des Addictions. Vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9 et variabilit\u00e9 exp\u00e9rimentale et clinique \u00bb cr\u00e9\u00e9e avec le Pr Jean-Michel Scherrmann. Dans cet exercice, il a \u00e9tabli des ponts entre la psychiatrie, la toxicologie et la pharmacologie, la clinique et les sciences fondamentales, mais aussi entre l\u2019Universit\u00e9 Paris Diderot et l\u2019Universit\u00e9 Paris Descartes, pr\u00e9figurant la future Universit\u00e9 de Paris Cit\u00e9. Il est \u00e0 l\u2019initiative de nombreux projets de recherche explorant la variabilit\u00e9 de r\u00e9ponse aux m\u00e9dicaments psychotropes, visant \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper une m\u00e9decine personnalis\u00e9e.<\/p>\n Auteur de plus de 300 articles de recherche internationaux, le Pr L\u00e9pine a \u00e9galement particip\u00e9 \u00e0 la r\u00e9daction de tr\u00e8s nombreux ouvrages de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence en langue fran\u00e7aise et anglaise.
