Le pr\u00e9sent ouvrage \u00e9tudie le corps repr\u00e9sent\u00e9 dans les litt\u00e9ratures d\u2019Asie orientale et alentours au XXe et XXIe si\u00e8cles : Chine, Cor\u00e9e, Japon, Vietnam, Indon\u00e9sie.<\/p>\n

Le plan du volume est th\u00e9matique : corps satur\u00e9s, corps r\u00e9prim\u00e9s, corps r\u00e9appropri\u00e9s, corps trans-form\u00e9s. La m\u00e9thodologie croise autant que possible les disciplines d\u2019approche : narratologie, anthropologie, psychanalyse, histoire culturelle du corps, etc. Les vicissitudes de l\u2019histoire dans la zone concern\u00e9e ne font pas dispara\u00eetre les anciennes conceptions du corps, ainsi que les discours et l\u00e9gendes aff\u00e9rents, mais le choc de la modernisation \u00e9cart\u00e8le le corps entre un corps anatomis\u00e9 en qu\u00eate d\u2019identit\u00e9 r\u00e9prim\u00e9 par le corps de la nation, et un corps virtuel engendr\u00e9 par le cyberespace. La litt\u00e9rature, elle, tend le plus souvent \u00e0 rendre compte du ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne comme si l\u2019autonomie du corps, encore un enjeu, conditionnait celle de l\u2019\u00e9criture. Aussi deux tendances apparaissent-elles dans l\u2019\u00e9criture : l\u2019une, classique, restitue encore les manques aussi bien que les d\u00e9bordements du corps ; l\u2019autre exp\u00e9rimente afin de renouveler le lien du corps avec un monde ali\u00e9nant, quitte \u00e0 casser la langue. Une exp\u00e9rience assez proche, somme toute, de celle de l\u2019Occident. Nombre d\u2019extraits in\u00e9dits traduits illustrent l\u2019ensemble.<\/p>\n
