Apr\u00e8s une premi\u00e8re \u00e9dition \u00e0 Boston<\/a> en avril dernier, le second Symposium \u00ab\u00a0Comparative Health Humanities\u00a0\u00bb\u00a0 se tiendra \u00e0 l’Institut des \u00c9tudes Avanc\u00e9es de Paris<\/a> les 5-6 Octobre 2023 (apr\u00e8s-midis).\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Ce symposium propose de comparer des id\u00e9es, concepts et m\u00e9thodes autour des humanit\u00e9s en sant\u00e9 en France et aux \u00c9tats-Unis. Nous analyserons notamment les impens\u00e9s de l’impact des infrastructures et contextes nationaux et locaux sur l’\u00e9laboration des concepts en humanit\u00e9s\u00a0m\u00e9dicales. Le premier apr\u00e8s-midi sera consacr\u00e9 \u00e0 des questions g\u00e9n\u00e9rales sur les humanit\u00e9s en sant\u00e9 en France et aux \u00c9tats-Unis (environnement et de sant\u00e9 ; donn\u00e9es m\u00e9dicales; traduction et intraduisibilit\u00e9; humanit\u00e9s m\u00e9dicales et professions de sant\u00e9). Le deuxi\u00e8me apr\u00e8s-midi abordera plus sp\u00e9cifiquement les questions raciales, de migrations et d’histoire coloniale et post-coloniale\u00a0dans les humanit\u00e9s en sant\u00e9 en France et aux \u00c9tats-Unis.<\/p>\n

L’\u00e9v\u00e9nement est ouvert \u00e0 toutes et \u00e0 tous sur inscription obligatoire<\/a><\/p>\n

Ce symposium est soutenu par l’Institut \u00ab\u00a0La Personne en M\u00e9decine\u00a0\u00bb de l’Universit\u00e9 Paris-Cit\u00e9, le Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS), le Laboratoire de Recherche sur les Cultures Anglophones (LARCA, UMR 8225), le \u00ab\u00a0Health, Humanities, and Society and Humanities Center\u00a0\u00bb de l’Universit\u00e9 de Northeastern \u00e0 Boston, et le \u00ab\u00a0Critical Health Humanities seminar\u00a0\u00bb du \u00ab\u00a0Mahindra Humanities Center\u00a0\u00bb de l’Universit\u00e9 de Harvard.<\/p>\n
