Claire Jeantils : Clara et moi discutions de mes travaux de recherche en humanit\u00e9s m\u00e9dicales sur l\u2019\u00e9pilepsie et de mon exp\u00e9rience de proche aidante. Elle m\u2019a fait remarquer que l\u2019aspect personnel de ma recherche la rendait particuli\u00e8rement accessible. Elle a alors \u00e9voqu\u00e9 l\u2019id\u00e9e de la partager sous la forme d\u2019un podcast. Je savais d\u00e9j\u00e0 qu\u2019il y avait tr\u00e8s peu de podcasts d\u2019humanit\u00e9s m\u00e9dicales en fran\u00e7ais et encore moins sur le sujet de l\u2019\u00e9pilepsie. Nous avons envisag\u00e9 diff\u00e9rents angles d\u2019approche pour finalement choisir d\u2019aborder les trois perspectives principales sur l\u2019\u00e9pilepsie (celle des malades, de la m\u00e9decine et de la culture) et de compl\u00e9ter le tout avec ce que les humanit\u00e9s m\u00e9dicales pouvaient apporter. C\u2019est, il me semble, une fa\u00e7on tout \u00e0 fait appropri\u00e9e pour \u00e0 la fois sensibiliser sur le sujet de l\u2019\u00e9pilepsie et laisser place aux v\u00e9cus des personnes concern\u00e9es.<\/p>\n
Claire Jeantils: J\u2019ai rencontr\u00e9 Clara il y a 6 ans, quand nous \u00e9tions en premi\u00e8re ann\u00e9e de master \u00e0 la Sorbonne Nouvelle. C\u2019est en pr\u00e9parant le projet du podcast que nous avons d\u00e9couvert les travaux d\u2019Agathe sur la notion de v\u00e9cu de la maladie chronique et la probl\u00e9matique de l\u2019aspiration \u00e0 la vie \u00ab normale \u00bb pour les malades. Cela a tout de suite fait \u00e9cho aux th\u00e9matiques que nous voulions aborder. Je l\u2019ai contact\u00e9e pour approfondir cette dimension de philosophie de la m\u00e9decine dans le podcast, ce qu\u2019elle a accept\u00e9 avec enthousiasme. Nos perspectives se compl\u00e8tent et rendent ce projet d\u2019autant plus stimulant et exigeant.<\/p>\n
Clara Matet : Le podcast est un m\u00e9dia audio, tr\u00e8s actuel, non soumis \u00e0 une grille de programmes et disponible en ligne. J\u2019ai propos\u00e9 le podcast pour porter le travail de Claire, tout d\u2019abord parce que je sais et j\u2019aime le cr\u00e9er. On a beaucoup dit du podcast que c\u2019\u00e9tait le m\u00e9dia de l\u2019intime, celui du \u201cjournalisme de l\u2019intime\u201d et je suis assez d\u2019accord. Le podcast se pr\u00eate tr\u00e8s bien \u00e0 des r\u00e9cits personnels car, de sa fabrication \u00e0 son acc\u00e8s, il permet une grande libert\u00e9 de ton et de cr\u00e9ation et une proximit\u00e9 certaine avec les auditeur.ice.s. Il n\u2019y a pas de limite de dur\u00e9e, ce qui fait qu\u2019on peut creuser approfondir sur des sujets tr\u00e8s complexes tout en suivant l\u2019histoire d’une personne en particulier.<\/p>\n
Je n\u2019aime pas faire de hi\u00e9rarchie parce que je consomme beaucoup d\u2019autres m\u00e9dias que j\u2019adore (Twitch, Youtube, Streaming\u2026), mais m\u00eame l\u00e0, je m\u2019\u00e9loigne tr\u00e8s souvent des \u00e9crans pour les \u00e9couter juste au casque. D\u2019ailleurs, paradoxalement, le soin apport\u00e9 au son dans tous ces m\u00e9dias de l\u2019image est parfois beaucoup plus pouss\u00e9 que pour les images, parce que le son, c\u2019est l\u2019atmosph\u00e8re, c\u2019est l\u2019\u00e9motion, mais c\u2019est aussi d\u00e9j\u00e0 une part de l\u2019histoire qu\u2019il faut \u00e9crire correctement. Le podcast pour moi, c\u2019est donc un m\u00e9dia \u00e0 la fois de l\u2019exp\u00e9rience et de la connaissance, encore un peu libre et \u00e0 hauteur humaine. Il se pr\u00eate tr\u00e8s bien \u00e0 cette r\u00e9flexion sur l\u2019\u00e9pilepsie, entre la recherche, la vulgarisation, l’histoire personnelle et le documentaire.<\/p>\n
Agathe Camus : C\u2019est une belle occasion de partager nos recherches dans mais aussi au-del\u00e0 du monde acad\u00e9mique, selon des modalit\u00e9s et une temporalit\u00e9 diff\u00e9rentes de celles de la publication et de la communication scientifiques. On parle beaucoup aujourd\u2019hui du dialogue entre science et soci\u00e9t\u00e9, et sur des th\u00e9matiques comme la maladie chronique, le soin, la pluralit\u00e9 des v\u00e9cus qui s\u2019y rattachent, les in\u00e9galit\u00e9s que cela suscite, et m\u00eame la violence de certaines situations pour les personnes concern\u00e9es, ce dialogue est essentiel. Un m\u00e9dium comme le podcast permet de le nourrir d\u2019une fa\u00e7on qui me semble particuli\u00e8rement riche. Par ailleurs, en tant que chercheuses, cela nous oblige \u00e0 nous poser des questions assez nouvelles sur les images, les \u00e9motions, les sensations que l\u2019on va faire surgir et v\u00e9hiculer \u00e0 travers le choix de la musique, de l\u2019illustration, la voix, les r\u00e9cits, etc. C\u2019est un peu d\u00e9stabilisant mais aussi passionnant d\u2019envisager cette dimension tr\u00e8s \u201csensible\u201d qui a tendance \u00e0 dispara\u00eetre dans l\u2019\u00e9criture scientifique.<\/p>\n
Clara Matet : C\u2019est une chance inou\u00efe de travailler avec des chercheuses parce que je suis s\u00fbre que le propos qu\u2019on veut d\u00e9velopper ensemble sera pens\u00e9 avec beaucoup d\u2019attention et de nuances. La musique, le son, le texte, la voix, l\u2019image\u2026 Tous ces aspects doivent \u00eatre discut\u00e9s ensemble pour raconter au mieux l’\u00e9pilepsie et ce que sont les humanit\u00e9s m\u00e9dicales. Cette petite entreprise que nous avons amorc\u00e9e ensemble \u201cforce\u201d en quelque sorte Claire et Agathe \u00e0 sortir des canaux de communication scientifiques traditionnels, et cela me demande une grande concentration pour comprendre leurs travaux de recherche afin de r\u00e9aliser le podcast de la meilleure fa\u00e7on possible. C\u2019est un petit d\u00e9fi et de longues discussions riches et stimulantes !<\/p>\n
