scientifique. Elle\u00a0intervient dans le colloque organis\u00e9 par l’ILPEM le 23 mai \u00ab\u00a0L’invisible, le n\u00e9glig\u00e9, le cach\u00e9 des pratiques et lieux de soin pendant, apr\u00e8s et hors contexte pand\u00e9mique \u00bb<\/a>. Elle\u00a0participe aux travaux du s\u00e9minaire \u00ab\u00a0Re-orienting Medical Humanities<\/a>\u00a0\u00bb (Joint Award KCL\/UPC). Elle pr\u00e9sentera ces travaux autour du projet collaboratif Participate Brussels sur le th\u00e8me \u00ab\u00a0Concilier attentes de terrain et ambition th\u00e9orisante : Un paris possible ?<\/a> \u00bb lors du s\u00e9minaire de l’ILPEM du 1er juin. Elle participe aux recherches de l’ILPEM sur la sant\u00e9 et le soin des adolescents atteints d’une maladie chronique, en particulier sur la question de la transition, et sur les transformations du soin dans le contexte de l’apr\u00e8s pand\u00e9mie.<\/p>\n \u00c0 quelle occasion vous \u00eates-vous rencontr\u00e9s ? Autour de quelles th\u00e9matiques se sont nouer vos \u00e9changes scientifiques ?<\/strong><\/p>\n C\u2019est dans le contexte d\u2019une recherche post-doctorale d\u2019Isabelle Aujoulat sur les cons\u00e9quences psychosociales au long cours d\u2019une transplantation h\u00e9patique chez l\u2019enfant que nous avons fait connaissance. Isabelle avait lu la th\u00e8se de doctorat de Karl-Leo Schwering sur \u00ab Don et Incorporation. Les enjeux psychiques de la transplantation d\u2019organes \u00bb qui portait\u00a0 sur la m\u00eame population d\u2019enfants. La dimension psychique y \u00e9tait tr\u00e8s pr\u00e9sente, ce qui l\u2019a particuli\u00e8rement int\u00e9ress\u00e9e \u00e9tant donn\u00e9 ses propres travaux, toujours actuels, sur le \u00ab pouvoir \u00eatre \u00bb (empowerment) et le \u00ab pouvoir agir \u00bb des patients atteints d\u2019une maladie grave et souvent chronique. Nous avons ensuite travaill\u00e9 ensemble au sein de l\u2019ELPAT (Ethical, Legal and Psychosocial Aspects of Organ Transplantation<\/a>) sur les dynamiques familiales dans le contexte de la transplantation d\u2019organe.<\/p>\n \u00a0Quelles diff\u00e9rences d\u2019approche avez-vous pu identifier dans les humanit\u00e9s m\u00e9dicales entre votre environnement et la communaut\u00e9 scientifique fran\u00e7aise ?<\/strong><\/p>\n Nous avons eu beaucoup de discussions autour de nos approches et m\u00e9thodologies respectives. Celles-ci nous ont mutuellement enrichis. Dans le cadre de ses recherches en sant\u00e9 publique, dans un environnement o\u00f9 les m\u00e9thodes quantitatives \u00e9taient la norme, Isabelle Aujoulat a \u00e9t\u00e9 confront\u00e9e tr\u00e8s t\u00f4t dans sa carri\u00e8re \u00e0 la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 d\u2019argumenter et de documenter tr\u00e8s pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment ses choix m\u00e9thodologiques en mati\u00e8re de recherche qualitative. Cela lui a permis de d\u00e9velopper des comp\u00e9tences pointues, particuli\u00e8rement utiles pour la valorisation internationale des recherches. La principale diff\u00e9rence que nous avons constat\u00e9e entre nos deux environnements de travail concerne en effet principalement le type de valorisation scientifique de nos r\u00e9sultats de recherche. Ainsi, nos travaux ont pu b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier de l\u2019exp\u00e9rience d\u2019Isabelle Aujoulat en mati\u00e8re d\u2019\u00e9criture scientifique pour des publications internationales. R\u00e9ciproquement, Isabelle Aujoulat dit avoir red\u00e9couvert dans le cadre de nos collaborations le plaisir d\u2019une \u00e9criture plus personnelle et nuanc\u00e9e, par exemple au travers de la r\u00e9daction de chapitres d\u2019ouvrages.<\/p>\n Quels sont les enjeux concernant la recherche en humanit\u00e9s m\u00e9dicales que vous avez partag\u00e9s et qui vous semble aujourd\u2019hui prioritaire ?<\/strong><\/p>\n Ce sont les enjeux autour des pratiques de soins mises en \u0153uvre par l\u2019\u00e9quipe m\u00e9dicale et soignante, et l\u2019impact de ces pratiques sur le \u00ab pouvoir \u00eatre \u00bb et le \u00ab pouvoir d\u2019agir \u00bb de patients atteints de maladies graves et chroniques que nous avons partag\u00e9s dans le cadre de nos recherches respectives, ces enjeux \u00e9tant toujours actuels aujourd\u2019hui.<\/p>\n Par ailleurs, avec Isabelle Aujoulat et d\u2019autres membres de l\u2019\u00e9quipe de recherche en sciences humaines et sociales \u00e0 l\u2019h\u00f4pital St. Louis, nous allons nous engager dans une phase de publications communes autour d\u2019un projet de recherche que nous avons initi\u00e9 ensemble \u00e0 partir de 2013 sur la \u00ab construction identitaire des adolescents et jeunes adultes ayant travers\u00e9 le cancer \u00bb. Nous allons donc pouvoir nous lancer dans cette nouvelle aventure, d\u00e9licate cependant, car la dimension interdisciplinaire de cette recherche n\u2019est pas ais\u00e9e \u00e0 valoriser dans les revues internationales. En effet l\u2019apport conjoint de la sant\u00e9 publique d\u2019un c\u00f4t\u00e9, de la psychopathologie psychanalytique de l\u2019autre, est peu courante dans le cadre des \u00e9tudes sur le v\u00e9cu de la maladie.\u00a0<\/p>\n Comment la collaboration avec l\u2019ILPEM a enrichi votre recherche ?<\/strong><\/p>\n ILPEM nous a permis d\u2019\u00e9largir notre horizon collaboratif car nous avons r\u00e9alis\u00e9 \u00e0 quel point nos th\u00e9matiques de recherche \u00e9taient partag\u00e9es par d\u2019autres disciplines (philosophie du soin, anthropologie de la sant\u00e9, etc.) et donc d\u2019autres chercheurs que nous avons eu la chance de rencontrer au sein de l\u2019Institut, y compris sur le plan international. La collaboration avec les coll\u00e8gues du King\u2019s college \u00e0 Londres repr\u00e9sente dans ce contexte une ouverture d\u2019avenir tr\u00e8s significative, ainsi que la collaboration avec d\u2019autres personnes au sein du conseil scientifique de l\u2019institut.<\/p>\n Professeure Isabelle Aujoulat<\/strong> travaille dans le domaine de la promotion et de l\u2019\u00e9ducation pour la sant\u00e9 depuis 25 ans dans des contextes vari\u00e9s : organisations non gouvernementales, secteur de la recherche priv\u00e9e, h\u00f4pital, et UCLouvain en Belgique. Elle enseigne la promotion de la sant\u00e9, l\u2019\u00e9ducation des patients et les m\u00e9thodes de recherche qualitative. Ses principaux domaines d\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat et d\u2019expertise sont : l\u2019autonomisation des patients, les aspects psychosociaux des comportements de sant\u00e9, le travail sur l\u2019identit\u00e9 apr\u00e8s le diagnostic d\u2019une maladie chronique, la transition des soins p\u00e9diatriques aux soins pour adultes. Elle m\u00e8ne actuellement des recherches sur la planification personnalis\u00e9e des soins, les soins palliatifs p\u00e9diatriques, les cons\u00e9quences de l\u2019\u00e9puisement parental sur les enfants. Elle cherche \u00e0 impliquer les patients en tant que co-chercheurs dans ses projets, tout en accordant une attention particuli\u00e8re aux d\u00e9fis m\u00e9thodologiques et \u00e9thiques li\u00e9s aux m\u00e9thodes participatives avec des groupes de personnes vuln\u00e9rables comme les enfants ou les patients.
