L’institut collabore avec le \u00ab\u00a0Centre for the Humanities and Health\u00a0\u00bb du KIng ‘s College London pour discuter des apports et des limites du courant des critical medical humanities<\/em>. Ils ont obtenus un financement dans le cadre de l’appel \u00e0 projet \u00c9mergence de Universit\u00e9 Paris Cit\u00e9 en 2021. L\u2019institut La Personne en m\u00e9decine collabore depuis de nombreuses ann\u00e9es avec le Centre for the Humanities and Health <\/a><\/em>du King’s College London. Lors des diff\u00e9rentes rencontres, le besoin de recentrer les humanit\u00e9s m\u00e9dicales dans les dimensions existentielles et culturelles du soin s’est fait sentir. Cette r\u00e9flexion s’appuie sur les travaux au sein de l’institut et outre-manche et m\u00eale la mani\u00e8re dont le soin est per\u00e7u dans la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 anglo-saxonne et fran\u00e7aise.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Les chercheurs regroup\u00e9s au sein de ce projet souhaitent s’appuyer sur les r\u00e9flexions et critiques \u00e9mises par les critical medical humanities<\/em>\u00a0 pour en montrer les limites et proposer une attention renouvel\u00e9e aux dimensions humaines et de v\u00e9cu des personnes malades.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Le projet fait partie des 10 laur\u00e9ats de l’appel \u00e0 projet Joint Award King\u2019s College London \u2013 Universit\u00e9 Paris Cit\u00e9 co-financ\u00e9 par l\u2019IdEx Universit\u00e9 Paris Cit\u00e9<\/a> qui vise \u00e0 de promouvoir et renforcer les collaborations entre les chercheurs.<\/p>\n

Le projet est port\u00e9 par C\u00e9line Lef\u00e8ve, co-directrice de l’ILPEM et professeur de philosophie en m\u00e9decine \u00e0 Universit\u00e9 Paris Cit\u00e9 et Patrick Ffrench, professeur de fran\u00e7ais au King’s College London et co-directeur du Centre for Humanities and Health<\/span><\/span>. Le projet regroupe des chercheurs des deux instituts : Isabelle Ajoulat, Bernard Pachoud, Mohammed Rashed, Elise Ricadat, Karl-L\u00e9o Schwering, Neil Vickers, Martina Zimmermann, Catijan Gainty, Tania Gergel, et Emma Rycroft.<\/p>\n

La premi\u00e8re r\u00e9union s’est tenue en pr\u00e9sentiel \u00e0 Paris en avril pour amorcer la discussion et permettre \u00e0 chacun de proposer sa contribution. Une prochaine r\u00e9union est pr\u00e9vue en mai pour finaliser le plan et commencer la r\u00e9daction.<\/p>\n
