d\u00e9finition de la m\u00e9decine donn\u00e9e par le philosophe et m\u00e9decin Georges Canguilhem, la m\u00e9decine est un \u00ab art au carrefour de plusieurs sciences\u00a0\u00bb. Celles-ci doivent \u00eatre non seulement biom\u00e9dicales\u00a0mais aussi humaines et\u00a0sociales. Les savoirs et pratiques en m\u00e9decine devraient donc s’appuyer sur des recherches et formations interdisciplinaires. L\u2019ILPEM consid\u00e8re les patient.es et les professionnel\u00b7les de sant\u00e9 comme des personnes qui doivent \u00eatre appr\u00e9hend\u00e9es dans leur globalit\u00e9 et situ\u00e9es dans des contextes pluridimensionnels. Il \u00e9tudie leurs parcours, leurs difficult\u00e9s, leurs besoins, mais aussi leurs comp\u00e9tences, leurs expertises, leurs ressources issues de leurs pratiques. Nos recherches portent sur leurs modes de subjectivation, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire sur\u00a0les mani\u00e8res dont ces personnes se con\u00e7oivent, interagissent et construisent leurs identit\u00e9s personnelles et sociales.<\/p>\n Nos recherches portent sur les exp\u00e9riences li\u00e9es \u00e0 la chronicit\u00e9 ou la chronicisation de certaines maladies. Nous \u00e9tudions ce que signifie \u00ab\u00a0vivre la maladie \u00e0 vie\u00a0\u00bb (dans le contexte de la m\u00e9decine de d\u00e9pistage et de pr\u00e9vention, de l\u2019acc\u00e8s aux informations biom\u00e9dicales personnelles, avec une maladie chronique, apr\u00e8s une maladie grave, etc.). Nos recherches portent sur les pratiques de soin qui font place \u00e0 la subjectivit\u00e9 et \u00e0 la participation des personnes et contribuent \u00e0 une m\u00e9decine qui ne s\u00e9pare pas traitement et soin (cure et care), pratique clinique et politiques de sant\u00e9.<\/p>\n L\u2019Institut ancre ses recherches dans les r\u00e9alit\u00e9s de terrain de la vie avec la maladie et les fonde sur une d\u00e9marche participative o\u00f9 des Au sein d\u2019Universit\u00e9 Paris Cit\u00e9 et de l\u2019alliance Paris Cit\u00e9, notre institut regroupe plusieurs \u00e9quipes de recherche en m\u00e9decine et en sciences humaines et sociales, en particulier en anthropologie, \u00e9tudes juridiques, histoire, litt\u00e9rature, philosophie, psychanalyse, psychologie, sant\u00e9 publique et sociologie. Pour am\u00e9liorer leur exp\u00e9rience dans le cadre de la prise \u00e0 charge m\u00e9dicale, mais aussi dans leur vie quotidienne, il est primordial d\u2019\u00e9tudier leurs parcours, leurs difficult\u00e9s, leurs besoins, mais aussi leurs comp\u00e9tences, leurs expertises, leurs ressources issues de leurs pratiques.<\/p>\n L\u2019approche interdisciplinaire de l\u2019Institut fait appel \u00e0 un ensemble de chercheurs de la Facult\u00e9 Humanit\u00e9s et Soci\u00e9t\u00e9s et de la Facult\u00e9 Sant\u00e9 en psychologie, philosophie, anthropologie, sociologie, histoire, psychiatrie. Les th\u00e9matiques abord\u00e9es englobent le v\u00e9cu des patients de maladies rares, des adolescents ayant eu le cancer, du parcours de soin des migrants.<\/p>\n Les associations de patients sont un acteur central dans la recherche autour du soin.
