Selon l\u2019ONU, environ 15 % de l\u2019humanit\u00e9 va migrer au XXIe<\/sup> si\u00e8cle, soit pr\u00e8s d\u2019un milliard de personnes. On estime ainsi que, depuis 20 ans, pr\u00e8s de 180 millions d\u2019humains ont quitt\u00e9 leur territoire de naissance ou de vie. Mais contrairement aux id\u00e9es re\u00e7ues, un tr\u00e8s faible pourcentage de ces migrants rejoint les pays occidentaux.<\/p>\n

Les personnes qui arrivent en France peuvent parfois cumuler des fragilit\u00e9s m\u00e9dicales, sociales et psychiques. Ainsi, la question de leur prise en charge m\u00e9dicale constitue-t-elle un \u00e9l\u00e9ment majeur d\u00e8s leur arriv\u00e9e. Mais dans un contexte o\u00f9 le syst\u00e8me de sant\u00e9 est lui-m\u00eame en crise, essayer d\u2019y r\u00e9pondre, c\u2019est s\u2019interroger plus globalement sur l\u2019acc\u00e8s aux soins des plus fragiles, quels qu\u2019ils soient.<\/p>\n

Des pratiques innovantes montrent qu\u2019une communication active entre soignants \u2013 parfois eux-m\u00eames issus de l\u2019immigration \u2013 et soign\u00e9s permet de mettre \u00e0 profit les comp\u00e9tences th\u00e9rapeutiques et l\u2019expertise de certains migrants pour mieux faciliter cette prise en charge. C\u2019est l\u00e0 un des enseignements de cet ouvrage riche de t\u00e9moignages et de rencontres.<\/p>\n

Ce livre s\u2019est construit sur la base d\u2019enqu\u00eates, d\u2019observations et d\u2019entretiens men\u00e9s par un groupe d\u2019universitaires, de chercheuses et de chercheurs issus de champs disciplinaires les plus vari\u00e9s. Chaque texte met ainsi en valeur la parole de nombreux t\u00e9moins intervenant dans le syst\u00e8me de soins. Tous livrent des r\u00e9flexions passionnantes sur leur exp\u00e9rience, refl\u00e9tant des d\u00e9marches novatrices et humanis\u00e9es.<\/p>\n

Les r\u00e9ponses apport\u00e9es permettent de proposer en miroir un regard neuf et de repenser les modes de prise en charge pour (r\u00e9)humaniser les soins dans leur globalit\u00e9, au profit de toute la population.<\/p>\n
