L’unit\u00e9 SPH\u00e8re (Sciences, Philosophie, Histoire), cr\u00e9\u00e9e en 2009, d\u00e9veloppe des recherches qui se situent \u00e0 la rencontre des sciences, de la philosophie et de l’histoire et qui ont pour objectif de contribuer \u00e0 la compr\u00e9hension des formes de l’activit\u00e9 rationnelle, dans une acception large de ce qui, au cours des \u00e9poques et selon les aires culturelles, a pu \u00eatre con\u00e7u comme tel.<\/p>\n

Tout en favorisant les \u00e9changes entre histoire des sciences et philosophie des sciences, ainsi qu’entre histoire des sciences et histoire de la philosophie, SPH\u00e8re tient cependant \u00e0 respecter leurs contenus disciplinaires et leurs m\u00e9thodes propres. Elle met l’accent sur l’\u00e9tablissement des sources et, \u00e0 ce titre, accorde une importance primordiale \u00e0 la dimension philologique de l’histoire des sciences et de l’histoire de la philosophie, et \u00e9tudie les sciences sur la longue dur\u00e9e et \u00e0 l’\u00e9chelle mondiale, dans des aires linguistiques diverses.<\/p>\n
