A Madagascar, des musiques auparavant exclusivement r\u00e9gionales sont depuis quelques ann\u00e9es diffus\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle nationale. Un des changements notables dans les repr\u00e9sentations r\u00e9side dans le passage de r\u00e9f\u00e9rents identitaires li\u00e9s aux appartenances r\u00e9gionales et\/ou ethniques \u00e0 des r\u00e9f\u00e9rents (assign\u00e9s par les m\u00e9dias de la capitale) appartenant \u00e0 un registre globalisant\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0musiques mafana<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb (\u201cchaudes\u201d). Des artistes, pris dans cette cat\u00e9gorie, ont migr\u00e9 \u00e0 la capitale et construisent de nouvelles formes musicales associant r\u00e9pertoires r\u00e9gionaux ou ethniques et formes modernes internationales, notamment en affirmant et revendiquant une appartenance \u00ab\u00a0Black<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb par des emprunts \u00e0 des genres musicaux africains et nord-am\u00e9ricains modernes. Ce ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne renvoie \u00e0 des imaginaires multiples. Il est, entre autres, \u00e0 comprendre dans un contexte de relations interethniques au niveau national, h\u00e9rit\u00e9es du syst\u00e8me colonial et mobilisant des repr\u00e9sentations st\u00e9r\u00e9otyp\u00e9es entre \u00ab\u00a0merina<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb (groupe ethnique historiquement dominant, de la capitale) et \u00ab\u00a0c\u00f4tiers\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n
