The international symposium Societal engagement of organizations and sustainability in Africa: catalysts for resilience in the<\/strong><\/em>
face of multiple crises? SEOSA <\/strong><\/em>will take place the 27th November 2024 in Tunis.<\/p>\n

The main purpose of this symposium is to create a space for dialogue and exchange between different types of actors. First, researchers, to the extent that Corporate Social Responsability (CSR) in developing countries remains an emerging and under-construction research field and then representatives of international, regional and national CSR networks, companies, NGOs, etc. who work to promote and implement CSR practices.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Opening:<\/strong> A plenary session led by two renowned speakers, experts in CSR and sustainability, with a particular focus on the African context, combining academic perspectives and practical feedback.<\/div>\n
Morning:<\/strong> Four parallel sessions addressing various issues related to CSR and territorial dynamics.<\/div>\n
Afternoon:<\/strong> Four further parallel sessions to explore these issues in greater depth, with most speakers on site and some remote speakers.<\/div>\n
Closing:<\/strong> Two exceptional workshops organised in partnership with guest publishers:<\/div>\n
Workshop 1:<\/strong> Preparation of the special issue of ACCRA revue, devoted to accounting issues in Africa.<\/div>\n
Workshop 2:<\/strong> Preparation of a special issue of ROR revue, exploring the links between CSR and development in Africa.<\/div>\n
