Depuis une trentaine d\u2019ann\u00e9es, les d\u00e9bats \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle mondiale nous montrent des sciences sociales tiraill\u00e9es entre les accusations de \u00ab nordisme \u00bb et de \u00ab sudisme, entre l\u2019unit\u00e9 et la fragmentation, entre le nationalisme m\u00e9thodologique et le fluidisme m\u00e9thodologique, entre l\u2019h\u00e9g\u00e9monie occidentale et les tentations de l\u2019indig\u00e9nisation. Pourtant, l\u2019histoire et les enjeux de ces discussions ne sont que peu connus en France. Chaque ann\u00e9e, le s\u00e9minaire recevra diff\u00e9rents chercheurs fran\u00e7ais et \u00e9trangers travaillant sur la question de l\u2019h\u00e9g\u00e9monie dans les sciences sociales, toujours avec l\u2019objectif de susciter la r\u00e9flexion de l\u2019avenir des disciplines dans le cadre de sciences sociales mondiales et non-h\u00e9g\u00e9moniques.<\/p>\n

Titre: Zones de n\u00e9gociation de la connaissance : Un concept de sensibilisation \u00e0 la production mondiale de connaissances sociales<\/em><\/strong> <\/p>\n

R\u00e9sum\u00e9: Alors que les contributions \u00e0 la sociologie postcoloniale, \u00e0 la d\u00e9colonialit\u00e9 et \u00e0 la th\u00e9orie du Sud ont analys\u00e9 de mani\u00e8re critique les h\u00e9ritages coloniaux et les in\u00e9galit\u00e9s mondiales dans la production et la circulation des connaissances au cours des derni\u00e8res d\u00e9cennies, la dimension pratique de la production de connaissances – telle qu’elle est \u00e9tudi\u00e9e dans la sociologie des sciences – reste souvent n\u00e9glig\u00e9e. Dans mon expos\u00e9, je pr\u00e9senterai d’abord bri\u00e8vement un argument en faveur de la combinaison des deux domaines, puis je me concentrerai sur mon travail de terrain et mes entretiens approfondis avec des universitaires chevronn\u00e9s des Cara\u00efbes anglophones, qui m’ont permis de d\u00e9couvrir les pratiques collectives de publication, d’enseignement et de mise en r\u00e9seau de cette communaut\u00e9 d’universitaires face \u00e0 leur position marginalis\u00e9e. Je pr\u00e9senterai ensuite une th\u00e9orisation des pratiques de travail relat\u00e9es dans un concept analytique de port\u00e9e moyenne, celui des \u00ab\u00a0zones de n\u00e9gociation de la connaissance\u00a0\u00bb. Ce \u00ab\u00a0concept sensibilisateur\u00a0\u00bb met l’accent sur l’engagement cr\u00e9atif des chercheurs bas\u00e9s dans le Sud vis-\u00e0-vis des in\u00e9galit\u00e9s mondiales et des h\u00e9ritages coloniaux de la production de connaissances, ainsi que sur leur \u00e9volution dynamique, et pourrait inspirer d’autres \u00e9tudes comparatives.
Pour mod\u00e9liser les pratiques des chercheurs en sciences sociales en mati\u00e8re de connaissances et de carri\u00e8re, je m’appuie tout d’abord sur la notion de n\u00e9gociation de Stuart Hall, qui souligne la relation et la situation des pratiques d’\u00e9laboration des connaissances dans les structures de pouvoir. En outre, je qualifie ces pratiques de n\u00e9gociation d’action cr\u00e9ative en r\u00e9f\u00e9rence au travail pragmatique de Hans Joas. Troisi\u00e8mement, j’utilise le concept de zones, en m’appuyant sur les travaux de Marie-Louise Pratt sur les \u00ab\u00a0zones de contact\u00a0\u00bb, afin d’appr\u00e9hender les diff\u00e9rents domaines des pratiques de travail scientifique. Ensuite, je distingue quatre zones de production de connaissances – vulgarisation, collaboration, publication et enseignement – qui font progresser les conceptualisations existantes de la production de connaissances comme \u00e9tant structur\u00e9e dans des domaines ou des mondes\/ar\u00e8nes sociaux. Globalement, le mod\u00e8le vise \u00e0 saisir les pratiques dynamiques, cr\u00e9atives et orient\u00e9es vers la communaut\u00e9 dans lesquelles se n\u00e9gocie la production de connaissances dans des espaces marginalis\u00e9s et anciennement colonis\u00e9s.<\/p>\n
