This project is closely linked to the \u00ab\u00a0Governing Diverse cities in Europe and Asia\u00a0\u00bb programme, winner of the 2020 UParis-NUS (National University of Singapore) joint research project call. In this framework, the two institutions (i) are organising two international conferences in 2022 and (ii) are setting up a new MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) on the governance of urban diversity in Europe and Asia.<\/p>\n
The ambition of the GRIP project is to develop our common project by financing new fieldwork on case studies based in Europe and Asia, in a global and transversal perspective between North and South. Our multidisciplinary project is at the crossroads of two of GRIP’s axes: (1) Global urbanities and (2) Circulations. This project is based on multi-site fieldwork, allowing us to consolidate our partnerships with international colleagues in order to offer global research. Our project is also particularly concerned with involving young researchers, for whom we finance research internship contracts (Master 2 students) and fieldwork mobility (PhD students).<\/p>\n
