The History Department of the UFR GHES brings together thirty research teachers, whose specialized fields cover the four traditional historical periods (ancient history, medieval history, modern history and contemporary history). One of the specificities of the department is the presence of an important teaching and research activity in the history of non-European societies (African, American, Asian and Middle Eastern worlds). The existence of cross-cutting themes in these fields, such as the history of gender, cities or the economy, is another strong mark of its identity.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
