S\u00e9guy<\/strong> est chercheure \u00e0 l'Institut national d'\u00e9tudes d\u00e9mographiques (Ined, UR 11), et chercheure-associ\u00e9e au Cepam (UMR CNRS-Universit\u00e9 Nice C\u00f4te d\u2019Azur). Elle \u00e9tudie les comportements d\u00e9mographiques des p\u00e9riodes historiques, \u00e0 partir de ressources \u00e9crites et mat\u00e9rielles. Ses recherches r\u00e9centes portent sur la sant\u00e9 et la mortalit\u00e9, les \u00e9pid\u00e9mies et les crises de subsistance en relation avec les micro-variations climatiques et l'environnement naturel, et sur les comportements sociaux des populations du pass\u00e9.
