Jacques V\u00e9ron<\/strong> est d\u00e9mographe et directeur de recherche \u00e9m\u00e9rite \u00e0 l’INED. Ses travaux portent sur les relations entre la population, l\u2019environnement et le d\u00e9veloppement. Il participa au Sommet de Rio de 1992 et \u00e0 la Conf\u00e9rence du Caire de 1994.
