Au moment de choisir le th\u00e8me \u00ab\u00a0\u00eatre machine\u00a0\u00bb pour cette premi\u00e8re \u00e9dition du Festival des id\u00e9es, l’un des premiers noms \u00e0 surgir dans notre esprit fut celui d’Alain Damasio. Qui mieux que cet \u00e9crivain libre et d\u00e9fricheur pour nous aider \u00e0 penser notre rapport ambigu aux machines, au num\u00e9rique et tout simplement \u00e0 l’humain ? Alors m\u00eame que la d\u00e9fiance \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9gard des machines et des technologies s\u2019accentue \u2013 scandales li\u00e9s aux big datas, d\u00e9veloppement de robots d\u00e9passant l\u2019humain, emprise de la vid\u00e9osurveillance \u2013, la normalisation des soci\u00e9t\u00e9s de contr\u00f4le semble prosp\u00e9rer et empi\u00e9ter tranquillement sur nos libert\u00e9s. Dans ce contexte, comment ne pas devenir des machines et pourquoi nous fascinent-elles tant ? D\u2019o\u00f9 vient cet assentiment au contr\u00f4le et quels modes de r\u00e9sistances opposer ?
