Unique en France, propos\u00e9 int\u00e9gralement en anglais, ce master a pour vocation de former des \u00e9tudiants fran\u00e7ais et internationaux int\u00e9ress\u00e9s par une \u00e9tude diachronique innovante sur une p\u00e9riode d\u00e9terminante pour la modernit\u00e9 occidentale.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Il s\u2019appuie sur des s\u00e9minaires existants, ouverts dans les autres parcours du Master Recherche.<\/p>\n

Les \u00e9tudiants ayant suivi cette sp\u00e9cialisation auront re\u00e7u une formation interdisciplinaire riche et polyvalente qui en fera non seulement des sp\u00e9cialistes recherch\u00e9s de la p\u00e9riode moderne de la Renaissance aux Lumi\u00e8res et au Romantisme, mais aussi de bons analystes de la p\u00e9riode contemporaine, dont ils pourront faire comprendre les grands enjeux et les questionnements \u00e0 la lumi\u00e8re de l\u2019histoire des id\u00e9es et des mentalit\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

Ils auront vocation \u00e0 poursuivre leur parcours sous forme d\u2019un projet doctoral, \u00e9ventuellement en co-tutelle internationale, avec l\u2019une des universit\u00e9s partenaires, mais aussi \u00e0 se pr\u00e9senter aux concours de recrutement dans les meilleures conditions.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Licence d’\u00e9tudes anglophones (ou \u00e9quivalent,\u00a0soumis \u00e0 appr\u00e9ciation de la commission d\u2019admission)<\/p>\n

Attendus de la formation<\/strong><\/p>\n

Excellente ma\u00eetrise de l\u2019expression \u00e9crite et orale en anglais\u00a0: Le niveau exig\u00e9 en anglais est C1. Pour les candidatures hors-Europe et pas issues d\u2019un pays anglophone, ce niveau doit \u00eatre attest\u00e9 par un r\u00e9sultat de test de langue internationalement reconnu (ex\u00a0: minimum 7 \u00e0 IELTS, 100 au TOEFL, 130 au test Duolingo, ou le Cambridge Proficiency).<\/p>\n

Capacit\u00e9s argumentatives en anglais ; solide culture g\u00e9n\u00e9rale sur la litt\u00e9rature des mondes anglophones. Capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 travailler seul pour mener un projet de recherche en autonomie.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Niveau de fran\u00e7ais<\/strong><\/p>\n

Aucun niveau de fran\u00e7ais n\u2019est exig\u00e9 pour le parcours Recherche, mais il est recommand\u00e9 d\u2019avoir des comp\u00e9tences suffisantes pour communiquer au quotidien.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Crit\u00e8res g\u00e9n\u00e9raux d\u2019examen des dossiers<\/strong><\/p>\n

La commission d\u2019admission pr\u00eate une attention toute particuli\u00e8re aux r\u00e9sultats en Licence (en particulier le premier semestre de la L3),\u00a0\u00e0 la coh\u00e9rence du parcours ant\u00e9rieur de l\u2019\u00e9tudiant avec la formation envisag\u00e9e, et \u00e0 la lettre de motivation r\u00e9dig\u00e9e en anglais.\u00a0Les \u00e9ventuelles activit\u00e9s extra-universitaires sont \u00e9galement prises en compte quand elles sont en lien avec la formation (projets, stages, volontariat, service civique).\u00a0<\/p>\n
