He is coresponsible of the french-german Master in geophysics and Deputy Director of the doctoral study departement at IPGP. In the framework of the international guest researchers programme at Université Paris Cité, he is preparing a joint publication with Prof. Upreti on hot springs in Nepal and their associated geology. Prof. Bishal Nath Upreti, an internationally well-known geologist expert of the Himalaya, is an academician of the Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST). He has taught at Tribhuvan University in Nepal and served as Head of Department of Geology and Dean of Science. Member of the World Academy of Sciences (TWAS), he has conducted extensive geological research in the Nepal Himalaya, initiated multiple international collaborations, written and edited many books, and published over 90 research papers.
