Les enjeux de genre appliqu\u00e9s au masculin ouvrent des perspectives pour comprendre la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 nazie et le nazisme en guerre. Le r\u00e9gime, qui pr\u00f4nait un id\u00e9al de camaraderie et de puret\u00e9 raciale, r\u00e9glementa le genre, les sexualit\u00e9s et la procr\u00e9ation par des lois racistes, homophobes, sexistes et eug\u00e9nistes. Or, la p\u00e9riode des ann\u00e9es 1930 aux ann\u00e9es 1950 fit coexister des contraintes sexuelles et des formes de violence de genre avec l’ouverture de nouveaux espaces d’exp\u00e9rimentation h\u00e9t\u00e9rosexuelle. L\u2019attaque de la Pologne en 1939 et la guerre de conqu\u00eate et d\u2019an\u00e9antissement marqu\u00e8rent une c\u00e9sure importante. En tant que combattants et colonisateurs, les hommes allemands et autrichiens se trouv\u00e8rent au coeur de mutations genr\u00e9es : acteurs de la violence, agents de la guerre et, in fine, porteurs de la d\u00e9faite. Chaque chapitre du livre explore, dans une perspective d\u2019histoire int\u00e9gr\u00e9e du genre (femmes\/hommes ; h\u00e9t\u00e9rosexuels\/homosexuels ; Juifs\/non-Juifs), la diversit\u00e9 et l\u2019ambivalence des situations v\u00e9cues au quotidien par les hommes.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Pr\u00e9sentation<\/h4>
La notion d\u2019\u00ab Empire \u00bb est plus pr\u00e9sente que jamais dans les discours m\u00e9diatiques et savants ; elle semble offrir une grille de lecture efficace pour appr\u00e9hender les r\u00e9alit\u00e9s contemporaines les plus diverses. Depuis une trentaine d\u2019ann\u00e9es, la recherche a nuanc\u00e9 notre compr\u00e9hension du ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne imp\u00e9rial. Les travaux r\u00e9cents ont ainsi soulev\u00e9 la question des superpositions et appartenances multiples entre empires.
