El proyecto CSSC se basa en definiciones existentes en el Derecho internacional, en particular la noci\u00f3n de \u00ab\u00a0diversidad cultural\u00a0\u00bb establecida en el art\u00edculo 4.1 de la Convenci\u00f3n de la UNESCO sobre la Protecci\u00f3n y Promoci\u00f3n de la Diversidad de las Expresiones Culturales de 2005. La diversidad cultural se refiere a \u00ab\u00a0la multiplicidad de formas en que se expresan las culturas de los grupos y sociedades\u00a0\u00bb. Es un concepto din\u00e1mico y evolutivo, basado en la transmisi\u00f3n entre grupos y dentro de cada uno de ellos. \u00ab\u00a0La diversidad cultural se manifiesta no s\u00f3lo en las diversas formas en que se expresa, enriquece y transmite el patrimonio cultural de la humanidad mediante la variedad de expresiones culturales, sino tambi\u00e9n a trav\u00e9s de distintos modos de creaci\u00f3n art\u00edstica, producci\u00f3n, difusi\u00f3n, distribuci\u00f3n y disfrute de las expresiones culturales, cualesquiera que sean los medios y tecnolog\u00edas utilizados\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n
