La s\u00e9rie de cin\u00e9-rencontres \u00ab L\u2019autre, ici m\u00eame \u00bb propose de r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir aux entrecroisements entre la r\u00e9alisation de films et les \u00e9tudes culturelles : comment des r\u00e9alisateurs et des r\u00e9alisatrices s\u2019emparent de questions qui traversent leur propre vie et leurs propres corps pour mettre en \u0153uvre, par la cr\u00e9ation cin\u00e9matographique, une pens\u00e9e align\u00e9e avec des d\u00e9bats qui animent notre soci\u00e9t\u00e9
dans le contemporain ?<\/p>\n

Ce premier volet est consacr\u00e9 aux r\u00e9flexions d\u00e9coloniales, avec la pr\u00e9sence de la r\u00e9alisatrice Barbara Marcel, qui pr\u00e9sentera son film Marlene, et de l\u2019enseignante-chercheuse Raquel Schefer (Paris 3), sp\u00e9cialiste des cin\u00e9mas de lib\u00e9ration africains. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Br\u00e9silienne bas\u00e9e \u00e0 Berlin, Barbara Marcel participe en 2021 \u00e0 une r\u00e9sidence d\u2019artiste \u00e0 la R\u00e9publique d\u00e9mocratique du Congo : \u00e0 cette occasion, elle propose aux \u00e9tudiant.e.s de l\u2019\u00c9cole de Beaux-Arts de Kinshasa un atelier sur le Tiers Cin\u00e9ma. Parmi les films projet\u00e9s et d\u00e9battus, il y a notamment Le lion \u00e0 sept t\u00eates (1970) de Glauber Rocha, figure phare du Cinema Novo br\u00e9silien. Marlene est le r\u00e9sultat de la r\u00e9ception de ce film dans le Kinshasa d\u2019aujourd\u2019hui.<\/p>\n

Tourn\u00e9 \u00e0 Congo-Brazzaville en 1 969, Le lion \u00e0 sept t\u00eates fait partie du projet de Cin\u00e9ma Tricontinental de Rocha, inspir\u00e9 d\u2019un speech de Che Guevara \u00e0 La Havane lors de la conf\u00e9rence Solidarit\u00e9 des Peuples d\u2019Afrique, d\u2019Asie et de l\u2019Am\u00e9rique Latine contre les pouvoirs coloniaux et imp\u00e9rialistes. Le Cin\u00e9ma Tricontinental proposait une r\u00e9novation esth\u00e9tique et politique radicale, capable de g\u00e9n\u00e9rer des alliances et de promouvoir la lib\u00e9ration des pays du Tiers Monde \u00e0 travers une r\u00e9volution culturelle. Ce long-m\u00e9trage est le premier film \u00e9tranger de Rocha, r\u00e9alis pendant son exile de la dictature militaire au Br\u00e9sil \u00e0 la fin des ann\u00e9es 1 960, et le seul qu\u2019il fait en Afrique.<\/p>\n

Un pr\u00eatre Blanc en Afrique annonce qu\u2019il a captur\u00e9 un \u00e9missaire du d\u00e9mon et que l\u2019apocalypse est imminente. L\u2019homme en question est en r\u00e9alit\u00e9 un r\u00e9volutionnaire am\u00e9ricain qui soutient le mouvement de lib\u00e9ration local. \u00c9chappant au pr\u00eatre, il entre en contact avec un leader r\u00e9volutionnaire et offre son aide dans la lutte contre l\u2019Imp\u00e9rialisme. Avec Jean-Pierre L\u00e9aud, Rada Rasimov et Giulio Brogi.<\/p>\n
