Parce qu’elle engage des questions collectives, parce qu’elle appara\u00eet comme un genre illustre, pr\u00e9sent (sous des formes diff\u00e9rentes) tant dans les pays colonis\u00e9s que colonisateurs, l’\u00e9pop\u00e9e est tr\u00e8s sollicit\u00e9e dans les litt\u00e9ratures d’Am\u00e9rique et d’Afrique. Ce livre rassemble douze textes qui analysent les fonctions de l’\u00e9pique dans un contexte postcolonial et dans un espace transatlantique. Il propose un parcours dans des oeuvres qui r\u00e9inventent les h\u00e9ritages postcoloniaux pour penser des crises historiques, faire entendre des voix multiples et imaginer des peuples. Mais de quels peuples s’agit-il ? S’adossent-ils encore \u00e0 des nations ? Par le prisme \u00e9pique, les liens entre litt\u00e9rature et politique sont ainsi reconsid\u00e9r\u00e9s.<\/p>\n
