La religion pr\u00e9islamique de la Perse, le zoroastrisme, doit son exceptionnelle long\u00e9vit\u00e9 d\u2019une part \u00e0 la permanence de ses pratiques rituelles et d\u2019autre part \u00e0 la capacit\u00e9 d\u2019adaptation et de mutation de certaines de ses croyances. Ces transformations doctrinales sont le plus souvent la cons\u00e9quence naturelle d\u2019une rencontre avec des courants religieux ou philosophiques qui repr\u00e9sentent tant\u00f4t un d\u00e9fi pour la religion iranienne, tant\u00f4t une source d\u2019inspiration, notamment dans le domaine fertile de la pol\u00e9mique religieuse. Cet enjeu est particuli\u00e8rement d\u00e9cisif pour la p\u00e9riode de l\u2019Antiquit\u00e9 tardive\u00a0: pour un savant zoroastrien de cette p\u00e9riode, la capacit\u00e9 de s\u00e9lectionner et d\u2019adapter les savoirs des doctrines non-zoroastriennes d\u2019une mani\u00e8re pertinente s\u2019apparenterait \u00e0 une strat\u00e9gie pour se placer avec eux sur un pied d\u2019\u00e9galit\u00e9.<\/p>\n

L\u2019examen d\u2019une vaste compilation zoroastrienne en langue moyen-perse (pehlevi), intitul\u00e9e le D\u0113nkard<\/em> ou \u00ab\u00a0Chapitres sur la doctrine religieuse\u00a0\u00bb et partiellement in\u00e9dite, a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 plusieurs phases d\u2019influence des notions philosophiques grecques dans la pens\u00e9e et la mythologie zoroastriennes. \u00c0 partir de deux extraits (D\u0113nkard <\/em>\u00a0III.225 et D\u0113nkard IV.3-10) que nous replacerons dans leurs contextes iraniens, nous tenterons de mettre en \u00e9vidence les proc\u00e9d\u00e9s mis en \u0153uvre par le penseur iranien pour adapter des motifs et des doctrines du n\u00e9oplatonisme (sp\u00e9culations plotiniennes sur la vision, la doctrine de l\u2019Un et de l\u2019\u00e9manation de l\u2019Intellect) au sch\u00e9ma zoroastrien, et nous nous interrogerons sur la nature apolog\u00e9tique de l\u2019objectif de ces emprunts (propagande religieuse et\/ou royale) dont certains aspects remonteraient \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9poque du roi Khosrow Ier<\/sup> (531-579).<\/p>\n

\u00c0 partir du XIVe si\u00e8cle et jusqu\u2019\u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9poque coloniale s\u2019est constitu\u00e9 en Asie du sud et en langue persane un savoir m\u00e9dical croisant deux traditions antiques : la m\u00e9decine grecque gal\u00e9nique, r\u00e9vis\u00e9e par Avicenne (m. 1037), et la m\u00e9decine indienne ayurv\u00e9dique. Les sources persanes et ourdoues offrent l\u2019image d\u2019une classe m\u00e9dicale indienne et d\u00e9crivent les interactions p\u00e9dagogiques entre des ma\u00eetres et des \u00e9l\u00e8ves appartenant \u00e0 diff\u00e9rentes cultures scientifiques. Cette intervention explore les rapports p\u00e9dagogiques entre savants hindous et musulmans en Asie du sud, entre le XVIIe et le XIXe si\u00e8cle. Elle \u00e9tudie la formation de r\u00e9seaux p\u00e9dagogiques multiculturels entre m\u00e9decins musulmans et hindous de langue persane. Le persan joue un r\u00f4le sym\u00e9trique dans le milieu p\u00e9dagogique d\u2019Asie du sud, o\u00f9 il est utilis\u00e9 par les musulmans pour traduire le savoir ayurv\u00e9dique et par les hindous pour s\u2019approprier un savoir m\u00e9dical et scientifique issu de la culture avicennienne.<\/p>
