Sp\u00e9cialiste du romantisme, Jos\u00e9-Luis Diaz a succ\u00e9d\u00e9 \u00e0 Julia Kristeva \u00e0 la t\u00eate de Textuel et a occup\u00e9 ce poste plus longtemps que quiconque. Il est \u00e0 l\u2019initiative de la vingt-deuxi\u00e8me livraison de la revue, dont il a r\u00e9dig\u00e9 la pr\u00e9sentation et qui, autour du th\u00e8me Images de l\u2019\u00e9crivain, regroupe des \u00e9tudes se proposant de \u00ab\u00a0faire le point, aux divers paliers de l\u2019histoire litt\u00e9raire, des solutions apport\u00e9es \u00e0 ces questions de figuration et de mise en sc\u00e8ne\u00a0\u00bb de l\u2019auteur par les pratiquants de la litt\u00e9rature. Centr\u00e9 sur P\u00e9trus Borel et Philoth\u00e9e O\u2019Neddy, son propre texte annonce ses travaux ult\u00e9rieurs, notamment son ouvrage L’\u00c9crivain imaginaire (Paris, Librairie Honor\u00e9 Champion, 2017). Les deux volumes de Romans de George Sand qu\u2019il a dirig\u00e9s viennent de para\u00eetre dans la Biblioth\u00e8que de La Pl\u00e9iade.<\/p>\n
