En 2018, plus de 2 millions de nouveaux cas ont \u00e9t\u00e9 diagnostiqu\u00e9s \u00e0 l’\u00e9chelle mondiale, entra\u00eenant plus de 600 000 d\u00e9c\u00e8s (Koual et al, 2020). En France, le cancer du sein est le plus fr\u00e9quent, suivi des cancers de la prostate, du poumon et du colorectal. Il touche principalement les femmes m\u00eame si 5% des nouveaux cas annuels concernent des hommes. Face \u00e0 ce constat pr\u00e9occupant, des recherches interdisciplinaires sont mises en place pour \u00e9tudier aussi bien l\u2019effet des traitements que les causes de cette maladie et les formes de pr\u00e9vention possibles.\u00a0<\/p>\n Les sciences sociales se sont empar\u00e9es, au cours des derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, de la question de la sant\u00e9. Elles insistent sur les aspects sociaux de la pathologie tels que les conditions et la qualit\u00e9 de vie des malades, l’exp\u00e9rience de la maladie, les in\u00e9galit\u00e9s socio-territoriales de sant\u00e9 (Amsellem et Bataille 2018; Chabrol et Gaudilliere 2023) ou plus r\u00e9cemment les enjeux \u00e9pist\u00e9miques et sociaux des recherches g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques sur la pr\u00e9disposition au cancer (Bourgain, C. & Gaudilli\u00e8re, 2018). \u00a0L’anthropologie de la sant\u00e9 s’est consacr\u00e9e \u00e0 l’analyse des recherches biom\u00e9dicales sur le cancer. Ces recherches analysent \u00ab la dimension mat\u00e9rielle des pratiques sanitaires contemporaines \u00bb\u00a0 (Dagiral et al 2022, p. 4). Elles permettent de comprendre que \u00ab le soin de soi et des autres passe par la m\u00e9diation des choses et des objets \u00bb (Dagiral et al 2022, p.5 ; Puig de la Bellacasa, 2011). La question du genre reste sous-\u00e9tudi\u00e9e dans ces domaines interdisciplinaires alors que les \u00e9pist\u00e9mologies f\u00e9ministes intersectionnelles permettent une analyse des rapports in\u00e9gaux (race, classe et genre) et une perspective critique et r\u00e9flexive sur les paradigmes scientifiques (Haraway 1995).\u00a0<\/p>\n Dans le cadre de cette journ\u00e9e d’\u00e9tude, nous proposons une r\u00e9flexion sur les \u00e9tudes de la sant\u00e9 \u00e0 partir d\u2019une approche intersectionnelle (genre, classe et race). Cette approche cherche \u00e0 examiner les interactions entre diff\u00e9rents rapports sociaux tels que le genre, la race, la classe sociale, la religion ou l’\u00e2ge, et comment ces dimensions peuvent s\u2019articuler ou se compenser, comme le soulignent Brun et Cosquer (2022).\u00a0<\/p>\n Cette journ\u00e9e interrogera d\u2019abord les contaminants environnementaux et leur impact dans la progression du cancer du sein (Koual et al, 2020; Tomkiewicz, Coumoul et al, 2024). Puis, nous proposons d’analyser les effets in\u00e9gaux de la pollution sur les corps et les territoires (Ferdinand, 2015), en explorant la mani\u00e8re dont les in\u00e9galit\u00e9s sociales, raciales et de genre affectent l\u2019acc\u00e8s aux informations et aux soins du cancer.
